The entire house was amazing! Playing pool with friends with a crackling fire going and finishing your evening in the hot tub was the best. The lovely personal touches, especially for our dog was so nice and welcoming. An amazing place to stay!
We had a great time at this beautiful property! The cottage is spacious and very comfortable, the lake access is excellent and the we spent many enjoyable hours using the canoe, kayak and paddleboard. Highly recommend!
This is an incredible property. It has just about everything you could want or need. We loved the access to the lake and the various water craft available. We even swam in the water, late in September. Inside has all the right amenities and more and incredibly comfortable beds. We wish we could have stayed for longer.
For us, this property was spectacular. I have to say that this is by far the best waterfront rental property I have ever stayed at. The hosts were wonderfull and live close by to address any problems that might arise, although we didn't encounter any real problems. Every thing was very clean and in excellant condition.
The check-in process was seamless and the hosts were extremely proactive and communicative The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were so comfortable that we checked to see the manufacturer of the mattresses !! The stairs down to the water were a bit of a trek (maybe not recommended for young ones or old ones) but so so worth it. The dock was an amazing place to spend the day fishing or tanning, swimming or boating Fully stocked kitchen with anything you might need! The lower level was a great space for family games and movies / tv We will definitely come to stay again !! I can’t recommend Martha and Ray’s place enough 10/10

Thank you for your positive review! We would love to have you back next year.
My husband and I took our adult daughters and one granddaughter for a 2-day vacation, and we were extremely pleased with our vacation. Despite it being only 2 days, we all left the place content and relaxed. The location is fantastic, and the Airbnb surpassed our expectations. Strongly recommend the place for a nice quiet family gathering with lots to do e.g., kayaking, paddleboarding, swimming.... It was a great stay and our host even let us arrive early, so we could take advantage of the water in this hot weather. Greatly appreciated!
Perfect winter getaway. This is a spacious, thoughtfully designed cottage with huge windows and fantastic lake views set on an expansive, peaceful property. Everything about the stay felt intentional and welcoming. We will absolutely be back.Beautiful, quiet setting with easy access year-round. The sanded stairs down to the lake made winter access safe and simple. We enjoyed lovely walks across the frozen lake and explored nearby trails at Frontenac Provincial Park and Gould Conservation Area, approximately 10 and 25 minutes away, even in snowy conditions.Exceptionally well equipped with everything we needed and more. Highlights included a beautiful pool table, a great fire pit, and a hot tub overlooking the lake. A particularly nice touch was the slippers at the door leading out to the hot tub. The wood-burning stove was fully prepared with matches, newspaper, kindling, logs, and even an axe right there, a small detail that made a big difference.Immaculately clean. The house felt fresh and well cared for throughout. The interior was filled with healthy, thriving plants that honestly looked fake at first, especially impressive for January. The owners clearly care about making each stay special. From the preparation of the firewood to the overall comfort and presentation of the home, everything reflected pride of ownership and genuine hospitality.Absolutely. A standout cottage experience, and especially magical in winter.
