Beautiful ground level apartment in a desirable pocket surrounded by high quality properties. The apartment backs on to beautiful bush area. The lounge and main bedroom have patio doors leading out onto a lovely private deck overlooking the bushland. BBQ available on the deck. Around 7-10 minute walk to lovely Long Beach.

Location was excellent and the views were lovely. Upon arrival we had no off street parking. Despite the stay being advertised as having “linen and toilet paper provided”, we had ONE towel between 4 people and ONE roll of toilet paper (already partially gone ). After communication with the owner, we received 2 rolls, between 4 people meant to last the next 2 days. We soon discovered that there was no WIFI, the battery in the remote was flat and the tv was not working. On the last day, we discovered old, mouldy, animal faeces under the main bed. The condition of the faeces indicated it had been there for at least a week. To my horror, my husband and I had been sleeping above this for the last three nights.

This is our first negative review. Unfortunately our cleaner did not replenish the toilet rolls. We were not aware that you did not have towel. We have also never previously been informed by a guest that the tv wasn't working. It was a public holiday weekend and we were not able to deal with the tv issue. We were never informed about the linen. We provided more toilet paper once requested. The dog poo under the bed is awful and we did previously have a guest that we allowed to bring a small dog. A lesson learned for us. We have a good cleaner, but for some reason this wasn't spotted. As stated this is our first negative review and we did apologise at the time for the issues.

The property was very good value for money. It is a house that is split into two apartments. We were lucky enough to select the apartment and had the top floor which is very spacious and has nice views. Note - The top floor doesnt have a door so at this stage I wouldnt want to share the property with strangers, but it would be ideal for reo families to holiday together. The host, Lynne, was very accommodating to us arriving early and checking out late. The property allows dogs, but doesnt have a fenced yard. At the moment the yard isnt landscaped either, but it is such a lovely neighbourhood that it is enjoyable taking your dog for a walk. As I mentioned, the area is really nice and is only a short drive or 10 minute walk (down a hill) to Long Beach, which is a lovely calm little beach. Thanks Lynne. We hope to visit again.

Hi Melanie, A couple of corrections: firstly, the upstairs and downstairs apartments are completely self-contained with separate entrances on separate sides of the property. We would never expect guests to share with strangers, and this is not possible. We allowed you to bring your dog as a courtesy and did not charge you for cleaning. It is not our responsibility to fence off our garden to accommodate your dog. I did ask you to keep your dog on a leash as we have kangaroos all around the property. The garden backs directly onto woodland with birds and wildlife all around. The garden is packed with beautiful, colourful native shrubs and trees with the garden sloping down to the woodland and the creek. It is a natural environment.
