Easy walk to pretty Wimbie beach from this light-filled townhouse in a quality complex with swimming pool and tennis court.

Beautifully renovated in late 2024, this cleverly designed getaway features a split-level living area, well equipped kitchen and separate dining area. Two large bedrooms with built-in robes and queen beds (plus single pull out sofa bed in second bedroom). One has a secret ensuite! The other bathroom has a bath, walk in shower for two and a spacious laundry with all the mod cons.

Surrounded by native bush gardens, Number 1 @ Wimbie is a great place to kick back and relax. Escape the heat relaxing with a book in the shady back courtyard; soak up the sun listening to the waves on the front deck; or settle down for a coastal nap on one of the comfy couches. Perfect for couples, friends and small families.

The townhouse is well-equipped with wi-fi, a smart TV, two Nespresso coffee machines (bring pods from home if you prefer Vertuo as not available locally), microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, heat pump dryer, gas barbecue and outdoor setting. It has parking for two cars at the front door.

The shared swimming pool and tennis court are a short stroll away. Stretch out on a sun lounge by the pool as the kids keep cool or have a lazy hit on the court after a day on the beach.

From Number 1 @ Wimbie, it is an easy, flat walk to three beaches (with no roads to cross) and the local Surf Beach shopping village is just a short 10 minute stroll along the beachfront.

Keep an eye out for dolphins as you take in the sunset walking from Wimbie to Denhams Beach. Catch a few waves at adjoining patrolled Surf Beach and pop over the sand dunes to get the newspaper, coffee, ice creams or fresh fish & chips.

If you are feeling a bit more energetic you can take a spectacular cliff top bush walk to beautiful Lilli Pilli beach and on to Mosquito Bay through the National Park south of Wimbie Beach.

Or jump in the car and explore nearby Batemans Bay and the popular village of Mogo.

Number 1 @ Wimbie is an ideal getaway for couples, friends and small family groups. Perfect for four, the townhouse can sleep five with a trundle bed.

Each bed has mattress protectors, pillows and doonas.

Guests can choose to bring their own sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, hand towels etc or, for an additional cost, can have linen provided.

We had a great stay here. The place was lovely, had comfortable beds, lots of reading material and was very clean and quiet. The location is great with a short walk to the beach. We would book here again.

Lovely presentation of modern update townhouse, close to the beach and terrific clifftop walks and not too far from Batemans Bay restaurant areas...And the Clyde river cruise with fish and chips for lunch onboard well worth a look.

We loved our stay at this property. The photos don't do it justice! Very clean and welcoming and wonderfully decorated. The bathrooms and kitchen are beautiful with everything you need and more. Judith was very kind and responsive and check-in was so easy. We will definitely stay again and will recommend to our family and friends.

An absolute gem of a place

This lovely townhouse is absolutely wonderful for a coastal getaway. It’s within walking distance of a lovely beach, and has everything you need for a relaxing time. We keep returning - the atmosphere is perfect. Added note - if you’re a bookworm like me, comes with lots of books that really add a lot of soul.

Excellent holiday stay!

I enjoyed a wonderful, relaxing stay at no. 1 Wimbie - it's a beautifully kept property full of light and comforting details, such as books, DVDs and warm throws. Only 5 minutes walk to Wimbie Beach, and then on to Surf Beach and Denhams Beach. I would highly recommend it!

Great coast getaway!

Reluctant to give up the details of this gem, want to keep it to ourselves! Perfect spot for a girl's wknd, close to calm beach & bush walks, with onsite swimming pool & tennis court. Really felt like home, well appointed & thoughtful touches. Can't wait to come back.

Great location

A great little spot. Close to a good beach and bush to explore. Nice pool area. Apartment is well stocked, towels, fine is good - but the apartment itself is a little bit tired. Suited us just fine, but might not be well suited for people after somewhere a bit sharper.

Perfect beach get-away

Stayed here for four nights in April and loved it. Very close to the beach, property is well cared for and feels private even though the complex itself is quite big. Judith was a super responsive host. Highly recommend getting the linen package, great to not have to make up beds on arrival! Everything was comfortable and I really appreciated the well equipped kitchen.

A little stay in paradise

We were delighted when we drove up to the unit, and even more pleased when we entered. The place is very well equipped, beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The setting is lovely, in bushland surrounds, very peaceful. And the pool was wonderful, not to mention the short walk to the beach. I would thoroughly recommend this holiday home.

A great location and beautiful unit

Very smooth process, great communication and we loved the unit. It was clean, and very nicely furnished and decorated. A few minutes walk to a safe, picturesque swimming beach. Also has easy access to a lovely swimming pool. A really nice experience.

Another wonderful stay at #1 Wimbie

It is our fourth time here, and it is still enjoyable. The property is top notch, and the location is just perfect. Judith is a fantastic host, and the only reason we won't be back is because we are leaving Canberra. Otherwise, we would keep on coming back.

This is a lovely cottage, which has a lot of charms and a really welcoming vibe. It’s a short walk to the beach and comes complete with entertainment for sunny and rainy days. Judith is a wonderful, responsive hostess and does everything to make sure the stay is special. We shall be back!

A great mini break with kids

Such a great location for easy access to Wimbie Beach and short drive or a 10 min walk to Surf Beach. Easy check in process, well stocked kitchen (cooking utensils, pots, pans etc), with a lovely surprise in the fridge. Plenty of comfortable seats in lounge room and both outdoor areas have seating options too. Great communication with host, prompt responses. Thanks Judith

Lovely and relaxing atmosphere

We are frequent visitors to this property and love its welcoming and hospitable atmosphere. There are well stocked bookshelves and games. The kitchen and laundry have everything you need for a self sufficient stay. Just a short walk to the beach and a 10 minute walk to the fish and chips shop and a small shopping centre with an IGA and chemist. The owner is wonderfully responsive and goes out of her way to make sure that everything is great. We’ll be back ☺️
