About the host
Your host
I (Flo) was born and raised in downtown St. John’s and later moved to Ontario to pursue my career, where I met my husband, Stu. Originally from England and raised in Toronto, Stu shares my passion for travel; however, our hearts have always been drawn back to Newfoundland.
Both avid nature lovers and hikers, we have explored many of the East Coast Trails. In 2024, we purchased this 135-year-old heritage home and spent 18 months carefully renovating it into the modern yet historic property we now share with guests. We are extremely proud to have preserved so many original features and hope visitors will appreciate the home as much as we do.

Why they chose this property
We love the character of the houses and the proximity to parks, cafes and downtown.
What makes this property unique
We have been very mindful and kept as much as the heritage as possible while adding all the modern amenities like central heating/air conditioning. We have also given every bedroom its own ensuite so everyone has privacy which makes our house perfect for couples and business travellers.
