Great location with pier, double hammock between large trees beside pier, fire pit/grill combo,with wood to burn, large iron grill, small ellectric grill, nice patio furniture, open floorplan, raised ceilings, ceiling fans throughout, box fan, 2 bedrooms-1 king and 1 queen with comfortable beds, leather sleeper sofa, extra deep tub/shower with nice combo rain shower head and extra hand-held one, 3 large smart TVs, wifi, kitchen/dining with stove, DW, microwave, coffeepot, and equipped for all basic cooking and dining needs. Long attached carport accommodates two vehicles back to back. 1st Monday shopping, Brookshires grocery store and Walmart supercenter are all less than a mile away.

We had a great stay! The home was spotless, comfortable, and incredibly convenient to First Monday Trade Days. The hosts were very communicative and even let us know the home might be available for an early check-in, which we really appreciated. For the price, the location and cleanliness were hard to beat.One helpful note for future guests: because the home is close to the highway, some traffic noise is noticeable. Light sleepers or families traveling with very young children may want to keep that in mind. It did not take away from our experience, though—we felt the home was an excellent value and would gladly recommend it to anyone wanting to stay close to First Monday!

This is a great property with fantastic hosts! Property was as described. It was quaint, the bed was comfortable and the sheets smelled amazing! I need her secret scent! The hosts were even willing to accommodate our check-out if need be. It was a fun weekend and perfectly located near EVERYTHING Canton has to offer.

Really enjoyed our stay ! Was a great location with easy access to Canton Days. The beds were so comfortable , home was cosy, clean and enjoyed sitting on the deck by the pond too

This is a very clean, well appointed home. The king bed was more comfortable than my bed at home! It was very close to First Monday Trade Days. We enjoyed feeding the fish and turtles in the pond. The only con that we encountered was that the home is located on a busy street with loud road noise but the host graciously provided ear plugs. We enjoyed our stay!

Amazing house. Has everything you need for a weekend stay. Beautifully decorated for Christmas. If you are looking for a place close to trade days this place is perfect. We could have walked and would have of it wasn't so rainy and cold this weekend. We will try to stay here again on any return trip to Canton. Host was each to reach and checkin was easy.

Relaxing and peaceful getaway

Well kept beautiful property. Husband and I had an absolute peaceful and relaxing stay. Especially enjoyed sitting on the dock, fishing while soaking in the scenery. Thank you, Christy and Terry for a wonderful stay.

Excellent location for anything you want to do in town!

We came for First Monday and it was perfect for 4 people. Lots of interest decorations. I felt like I was staying at a family members house. Nice beds, pillows, sheets and towels. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Good little get away

House was very cozy and had everything that you need. Great stay just outside the city… good fishing for the kids and fire pit all within arms reach… nearby to first Monday and yesterland. Definitely would come back.

What makes this property unique

Very close to First Monday shopping, as well as Walmart and Brookshires. It is cozy, while also feeling quite large, due to the high ceiling and open design. We also really enjoyed the small lake, but it has dried up now.
