Cottage by the Sea! 400M to the Beach, Lupo’s Pizza & Restaurant Bella Bronte.
This Family friendly Cottage is set a quiet residential area halfway between Forster and Taree making Holiday Activities in Forster and the Barrington Coast all accessible including the Khappinghat National Park & it’s only 3K to the koala reserve at Redhead.
The Cottage itself is fully fenced & has ample parking.
The property is mobility friendly for walking aids with level no step entry throughout but only has standard doors of 820 cm which may not suit adult wheelchairs.
There are three bedrooms with a queen bed in the master, a double bed in the second room with a single loft above it and a third bedroom with a single bed and a trundle underneath should you prefer it for a toddler.
There are books for reading and a DVD player with children’s movies available for your use and some indoor games such as Trouble, Cluedo, Knowledge, cards and puzzles. If you use these, please take care of these and pack them up ready for the next family to enjoy.
There is outdoor seating and a BBQ or you might prefer a short walk to Diamond Beach takeaway shops, cafe and restaurant, gift shop and liquor store. There’s also full laundromat should you need it.
Halliday’s Point Tavern and Sports Club also provide a courtesy bus for a gold coin donation.
It’s only 4K to Blackhead Beach with Surf Patrol in School Holidays and the Ocean Pool is cleaned weekly by Dads’s Army. There’s a new child friendly skate park at Hallidays Point shopping Centre which provides for most of your needs, including IGA, Chemist, Hairdressers, PO, Physio, Pathology and Library as well as the best OP shop around.

Located in Diamond Beach, this cottage is next to a golf course and near the beach. The National Motorcycle Museum and Great Lakes Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Tallwoods Golf & Country Club and Forster Marina. The Big Buzz Fun Park and Forster Tenpin Centre are also worth visiting. Make sure you get close to the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Why they chose this property
I chose this area as I love wildlife & I find the sea breeze cool and refreshing. I enjoy the beauty & sound of the ocean, walking and swimming at the beach or in the ocean pool. The local shopping centre is only 4K away and it supplies most things you might want or need and I liked the convenience of being able to walk to the beach, takeaway food shops, restaurants, Celebrations liquor store and gift shop.
What makes this property unique
It’s a lovely Cottage which is suitable for both young and older family members with some mobility issues, as it has level entry through the gate and ramps making it mobility friendly. There is also a wide shower , with a handheld option and safety rails to hold onto. While it is mobility friendly the door widths are not suited to adult wheelchairs.
