Maximising the space with a choice of sofa beds (one double, one single), a smart TV on the wall, and the versatility of occasional tables for eating, work or game night, you have all you need to make a quick bite, enjoy the modern shower and park your car with undercover security. Our place is a sweet tale jam packed with everything you could need. Modern with its European Oak floors and bold floor rug, mustard toned sofa beds, leafy plants and glorious leafy views brighten the snug space with homely warmth. The space is flexible to use it as you want – the console table works well as a breakfast bar or study space, the side tables work as a place to charge your phone, rest a drink or crack open the playing cards. The kitchen has a whiz bang portable dishwasher, portable induction cooktop, microwave, toaster, air fryer, rice cooker, kettle and bar fridge (with freezer compartment), with the versatility of a storage area for hanging clothes. The bathroom has a privacy door and There is undercover parking at car space 78, plus an on-site coin/card laundry for your use. A security screen door ensures you can let the air and light in from the west on a warm summer’s night, while a Dyson heat and cool jet focus fan heater makes the studio temperate. There is a large mirror on the wall so you can get ready for race day or other celebration. For light sleepers, there is a block out Roman blind and slim line venetian blind behind.

There are two security gate entrances of which may or may not be locked leading up to the top floor. There is a hidden keysafe to access the security doors and laundry if required. The apartment has an electronic key lock for access. Please be aware of others in the complex and ensure quiet enjoyment for all.

Flemington is an inner north west suburb of Melbourne, only 6.6 kilometres from Melbourne’s CBD. Our stay is in a gorgeous wide tree lined street filled with period homes and the Canterbury Stables Reserve, where you’ll love the quiet and calm of this residential street as a base, while you explore the excitement of Flemington with its iconic Flemington Racecourse, The Royal Melbourne Showgrounds (the home of Masterchef) and its proximity to Newmarket, Moonee Ponds, Kensington, the State Netball and Hockey Centre, Melbourne Zoo, Moonee Valley Racecourse and easy access to the Royal Children’s Hospital, Royal Melbourne Hospital and the Royal Women’s Hospital. For shopping, you can choose between the Newmarket Plaza, Showgrounds Village or the strip shops along Mount Alexander Road, Pin Oak Crecent or Union Road. Some of Flemington’s favourites are the Wolf and Hound café and Chef Lagenda on Pin Oak Crescent and the Elephant Café on Mt Alexander Road. Our favourites are Laksa King in Pin Oak Crescent and Mama Bear on Racecourse Road. The Melbourne Zoo, Flemington Racecourse, Gather & Tailor in West Melbourne, Oaks Melbourne on Market Hotel, San Remo Ballroom and the Melbourne Pavillion are all excellent wedding venues nearby, making this a great stay if you’re a guest for a big family event. Flemington Racecouse and the Royal Melbourne Showgrounds are also home to various music festivals including the Hypersonic Music Festival and Good Things Music Festival.

Our stay is around 16 kilometres from Melbourne Tullamarine Airport. It’s surrounded by excellent public transport within walking distance of both Ascot Vale and Newmarket train stations on the Craigieburn line, the Mount Alexander Road tram (No 59) and No 57 tram on Racecourse Road as well as the 404 bus to Moonee Ponds and Footscray station. Uber and taxis service this area. An Uber will cost around $36 to the airport.

Our place is in a large multi-level complex with undercover walkway to the car park.
House must be left as received except for bed linen and towels usage. Dishwasher turned on before you leave if there are dirty dishes in there. This is a smoking-free, vape-free, drug free stay. Cleaning fee is to ensure house is guest-ready for you when you arrive, and guest-ready for the next guests after you leave.
