The house was beautiful and had everything we needed! The pool was great for the entire family along with all the pool tools and games provided. Hidden Gem. Family girls trip, 6 adults 3 kids, ages 2-73. House was super clean with spaces for all of us to gather or smaller spaces for those who needed a little quiet time. Seating was plentiful and comfortable in the house, on the porch and at the pool. Pool was clean and very refreshing. Pool towels are provided as well as many other items not normally found in STR units. Such as popcorn maker, s'mores maker etc. Host texted a welcome and was very responsive when we discovered a problem with the hot tub. It was repaired and ready to use within 2 hours of contacting host. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. I am trying to convince the girls to make this our go to for future girl's weekends.

These guests were excellent and followed all the rules. They kept the house clean and even did extra help like starting laundry for pool towels. I would recommend them for future guests. They are most welcome to come back for any gatherings at our home. We are glad to provide extra items so all our guests can enjoy time at our 1906 farmhouse that is full of updates. We strive to always come help since we are local and can help These are 5 star guests.

Exactly What Our Family Needed… A Peaceful 5-Star Getaway

Our family absolutely loved our stay here. From the moment we arrived, Amy was an incredible host. She was responsive, welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed. The home itself is beautiful, spacious, and perfect for families. There was more than enough room for all of us to spread out, relax, and actually enjoy being together. Every morning and evening, the horses, donkeys, and cows would come visit the fence, and that quickly became one of our favorite parts of the trip. Watching the kids feed and interact with them made memories we’ll never forget. It rained and stormed for a good portion of our stay, but honestly, that didn’t take away from the experience at all. If anything, it forced us to slow down and appreciate the peaceful setting even more. The location is also fantastic. Seneca is a great little town with a lot of small-town charm. We really enjoyed walking around Ram Cat Alley, checking out the locally owned shops, restaurants, and everything the downtown area has to offer. There is also so much to explore nearby, from Lake Keowee and the surrounding countryside to beautiful waterfalls and scenic drives throughout the area. You can spend the day exploring and still come back to the house in the evening and feel completely removed from the hustle and bustle. After spending the last year and a half overseas for work, this was exactly what my family and I needed. Being able to unplug, spend much-needed quality time with my wife and our three kids, grill together, swim, visit the animals, explore the area, and simply enjoy each other’s company was priceless.Sometimes the best vacations aren’t about packing every day full of activities. Sometimes they’re about finally having the chance to slow down, look around, and appreciate the people you’re with.If you’re looking for a peaceful family getaway with plenty of room, beautiful countryside, friendly animals, and a great little town nearby, I can’t recommend this place enough. Five stars without hesitation. We will absolutely be staying here again.Thank you Amy, for helping make this such a special and much-needed week for our family.
