Relaxing Family Week

We came here for a relaxing week with all our kids and grandkids. It was so spacious and the perfect set-up for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there! The owner, Darol, is a super nice guy and was quick to respond to any questions or needs we had! Thanks for a memorable week!

Lovely Home

Beautiful home on the lake very clean. Darol was very responsive with any questions. Stayed there with family for my daughter’s graduation from Clemson just a 20 minute drive to campus. Would stay agin!

Property was very clean even the BBQ grill so we were pleased. Spacious rooms quiet cove and convenient to grocery stores and restaurants. Best weekend stay we’ve had in a long time

Lovely spacious home right on the lake. It accommodated our multi-generational family vacation and everyone had a great time. Bedrooms are huge. Beds comfortable. Outdoor living area has everything you'd need to eat, relax with a water view. We brought our boat and loading/docking was a breeze. (Landing only minutes away.) So many beautiful sights to see on the lake; but you can swim, kayak, or fish right from the dock. Host was very communicative, helpful, and kind.

Wonderful house on the lake

This was the perfect house to stay for our long weekend. The location was a fairly short drive back into Clemson and such a lovely, relaxing place to stay. The listing was exactly as described and Darol was very helpful and attentive to our needs. Our multi generational family highly recommends this property and host.

Awesome house!

We loved this property! Large rooms, comfortable bedding, well-appointed and amazing climate control. We especially loved the paddleboards! Darol was very responsive to questions large and small. Can’t wait to come back!

Great lake and nature experience! Nice big rooms. Beautiful sunrise on the dock.

Nice place and was surprised to see how quite and tranquil this spot is with on one close neighbor. We enjoyed mornings and evenings on the patio. Planning to be there again.

Lake Paradise

I booked this location for our son's graduation and needed an ADA home. This home was amazing and my 90 year old stepdad had great accommodations. Location is so peaceful and had a memory filled stay. Darol was so kind and helped us with everything. Would love to visit again!

We have stayed at this property in the past and had a great time. It is the perfect layout for our family. The only thing I would improve if the 2 upstairs mattresses. They are very tough on the back. Otherwise, this place is awesome!

Perfect Place for Us

We loved our week here. This home feels welcoming and cozy and is a Godsend for anyone in need of wheelchair accessibility. Everything you could need to enjoy a week at the lake. We loved the proximity of the water to the patio. The property is beautifully landscapes and feels private with wooded area beside it. Swimming, fishing, boating…. Keowee is a beautiful lake and we made special memories being here. Thank you!

Cutest Cove

Darol’s home was spectacular! The dock and outdoor spaces were all amazing! No boat traffic in the beautiful hidden cove. Darol couldn’t have been a better host. Highly recommend High Falls Boat Rentals for a pontoon. Darol has an extra spot on the dock for it and it absolutely made the trip. We were able to hang on the boat, fish, happy hour, and watch the kids on the dock. Kayaks and paddle boards were a plus too. We let the kids paddle around with no worries. Highly recommend! Thanks, Darol. Can’t wait to come back!

Relaxing in classy comforts.

What a gem! This is our opinion of the perfect lake house-not too big or gaudy, but with a luxury-home feel. Its location on the lake is ideal with a perfect amount of shade and minimal traffic to allow our young children to safely swim off the dock. There’s a great beach area for easy access for wading or just playing by the bank. The water was so clear and warm! The home is designed very accessibly, which aids to the additional comforts in the shower and lake access. My elderly mother came to visit us and was able to walk down to the lake with us due to the well-designed switchback path to the lake. The home is beautiful, comfortable and we, for the first time in a rental had everything we needed to prepare meals for our family. If there’s anything you can imagine for a perfect lake trip, this place had it all, including covered porch sitting under fans, multiple sitting areas, water toys with a place to dock our pontoon, comfortable beds, clean linens, complete kitchenware, board games and puzzles, kayaking, beach and swimming, and all the comforts of home with a cozy/luxurious feel. It felt like home, and one could tell the owner takes pride in it. We could go on and on about our new favorite spot on the lake, but what made it the best was the amazing host. He responded promptly and kindly with any needs or questions. Cannot recommend this place enough!

The house is amazing. Very well appointed with kitchen, with lots of cabinet and counter space for our bring-alongs. Great location on a quiet cove, perfect for floating, swimming and fishing. We enjoyed using the firepit every evening.
