Beautiful 4 Bedroom, 3 bath on 3 acres in a secluded cove with long view across Lake Keowee, in the Upstate of South Carolina. Two Decks, 2 hammocks, swinging chair, covered dock, big sand play area on the water, stream. 500 megabite WI-FI, ping-pong room, gas grill. 3 large Flat screen TV's to stream Netflix, etc., 2 home theater systems. Regulation Foosball table. All linens Included! 15 minutes to Seneca, 30 minutes from mountains of North Carolina, 20 minutes from Clemson University. 3,000 square feet, vaulted ceiling, hardwood floors, tile, stainless appliances, granite countertops, large den and living room, very clean lake. Perfect for a quiet get-a-way, but close to town. Very nice landscaping, 4 yards, hundreds of blooming bushes. Covered dock (your boat can park on either side as our boat stays in the slip), 2 kayaks, canoe, etc. Furnished with everything from a waffle iron, Keurig and regular drip coffee pots, to a wine bottle opener! Check in 4pm, check out 11am. Strictly enforced!

The home is located on a beautiful, quiet cove of Lake Keowee. The house was well stocked and comfortable. We had great communication with the hosts and check in was easy. Clemson University is about 30 minutes from the home.

The property was perfect for a long weekend with family. Porches, swings, and hammocks provided relaxing spaces with lovely views. Kitchen was well equipped for meal preparation. Upon arrival it was very clean and even had fresh flowers blooming in the yard and on the countertop. Lots of activities for all then members of the family—ping pong, foosball, kayaking, puzzles, and sand area with toys. Definitely would stay here again.

This was a great trip. Loved the house - the Tarheel room was an added bonus to make these fans feel welcome. The house is conveniently located, close to shopping and places to eat. I highly recommend! We will book again.

Relaxing Lakehouse

The house was clean. Perfect for visiting with family who live in the area. It is close to lots of stores and restaurants. My girls loved the hammock, swing and hammock chair on the lower deck.

Great views and comfortable accommodations!

We had 3 generations during our stay and everyone had a great time. The beds are comfy, kitchen is stocked, it was clean and there is plenty of space. The hosts are easy to communicate with and were very accommodating. The views are beautiful, we loved hearing the woodpeckers and other wildlife. We enjoyed fishing right off the dock (no nibbles though). We’d love to revisit this property when it’s warmer to really enjoy all it has to offer. We did use the kayaks which are nice and sturdy. We enjoyed dinner on the upper deck, played games there too and loved the swing on the lower deck.

Lake House Paradise

We were here to celebrate my husband's 71 Birthday ! It is a very peaceful and spacious home. The kitchen is very large and we cooked most of our meals here. The new grill on the porch is superb! We are very appreciative of our Host’s Jim and Gail. We were so happy that we added an extra night to our stay😃

Spacious, clean, and comfortable house on the lake with lovely lake views from large windows and decks. Only drawback was the steep driveway which could be slippery when walking.

Great House & Week at Lake Keowee

We had a great week and your house was fantastic! It was well stocked and very accommodating for our group. The carpet on the walkway to the dock was good due to how hot and slippery the wood gets. This really helped. The landscaping is beautiful and very well maintained. You’ve been a pleasure to work with!

Love this home

This is the 2nd time we have stayed here. The home is very spacious and comfortable. We love the location on the lake. The cove is quiet with friendly people all around. Nice dock for our boat and to hang out at. The kitchen is very well stocked and there was plenty of dishes to serve all 7 of us for more than 1 meal. Owners are extremely responsive and checked on us by phone after we got there. They definitely take pride in their beautiful yard. We will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful property on the lake

We loved the house. We were there for our son’s wedding. Wish we had more time actually at the property. The plan is to come again just to enjoy the family time on the lake. We had lots of room and everything we needed for our weekend. The property was very nice and the owners were very accommodating.

Tucked away for New year

Lake Keowee was Beautiful!

We enjoyed our stay this week! The weather wasn’t perfect, but this location was perfect for relaxation. We enjoyed the house and fishing from the dock. We brought our boat and loved exploring the lake. Everything was provided that we needed! The kids loved the kayaks and canoe. And playing ping pong! We even got to go watch the Tigers win a regional playoff baseball game yesterday! Thankful for this time with our family and friends.

House is nice! Gave it 3 stars for cleanliness because there were granola bar wrappers on floor in one bedroom and so many cobwebs. Gas grill was unusable because the bottom was completely burnt out but once we notified owner he tried to get one delivered to the house that week, once he couldn't he said we could go buy one if we wanted and he'd reimbruse us. We did that and he reimbursed us right away. All this was while he was out of the country! Would stay here again, overall the stay was wonderful.

“Incredibles Family Vacation”

Great location rented boat and wake board visible from home. Owner very responsive and quick. Great floating location. House is dated decorated as mentioned but clean and lots of room. We all enjoyed the ping pong table but could use new paddles and balls but 6 adults had no problem with our tournament games. The view from the deck was fantastic where we enjoyed all our meals and great family time. Plenty of room for 6 adults +. The yard was well maintained lots of privacy and pet loved. Lots of flowers. Kitchen well stocked with all our needs for cooking. Already Booked again for next year.

Great Location, Tired Property

This is honest feedback and not meant to bash. If you're allergic to bees/wasps do not come here. Three of us were stung over the week we stayed, including my 8 year old daughter. We bought wasp spray and sprayed/killed them all week, but to no avail. Reported to the owner who advised nobody had ever been stung. I guess they all showed up and made nests the week we got there. Positives: The location was great, water was great, house layout/floorplan/set up also great. Views, great. Kitchen stocked well, lots of utensils, etc. Owner Jim was a great communicator. Suggested Improvements: New cleaners. A big glob of hair in the master shower drain is gross. We didn't sit on any of the living room couches because dog hair was all over them. I understand pets are allowed here, but what about people who don't have pets? Also, when furniture breaks, fix it, or in this case, if it’s way beyond its useful life, get rid of it. (The recliner downstairs has one side of the back isn't even attached to the seat bottom.) We joked that we remember many of the utensils/cookware in the kitchen from the early 80s, since we all had them growing up. Pots/pans with Teflon that is completely scratched/flaked off is not acceptable when paying this much for a rental. It's ironic because there's a sign on the stove that says not to turn up the burners passed 5 for concern of ruining the pots/pans. I'd submit they're already ruined. As other reviews said, there were utensils were plentiful, but the quality was severely lacking. (When guests get there, they'll understand what I mean). There's a sign on the dishwasher that says don't close the soap lid. The dishwasher barely works, you may as well hand wash, which we did-no problem. Buy a new one, a quality one can be had for $500. Buy a knife set/block set so we don't have use knives with melted/burnt handles. Lastly, at night, the upstairs and downstairs has probably a 10-15 degree temperature difference. The downstairs guys described it as an “icebox.” Our overall feeling about the house can be summed up pretty easily. [The house is outdated. Put some money back into the property.] We will return to this lake, but will look for another property.

I grew up going to Lake Keowee and we love the gorgeous lake, the secluded home with acreage.

What makes this property unique

2 acres on a secluded cove with deep water and a view across the main channel of the lake. We have gorgeous landscaping and yards as well as enjoyable decks top and bottom, as well as a sandy beach and stream. It is 12 minutes from Seneca, a good size town, with Walmart.
