What a really neat place to stay. This was my first yurt stay and I really enjoyed it! I would add that this location is in the woods so arriving during daylight is ideal. I arrived late and it was tricky to find in the dark. I look forward to coming back!!

I loved the yurt and it added to my 5 day retreat. It was everything I had hoped for. I felt safe and cozy with the wood stove, especially in the rain. The silence was complete other than nature sounds -including on the first night an owl which might have been a Barred. I had time for a happy little hike within walking distance. With the yurt as shelter my trip was an adventure I will never forget.

I had such a sweet and peaceful stay in the yurt! Felt immediately at home and comfortable. Best sleep I've had in weeks, so quiet in the woods there. The space was very tidy and clean and clearly well maintained. Highly recommend :)

We had such a wonderful weekend in the yurt! Carolyn was so friendly and welcoming, giving us the tour upon arrival so we knew where to find everything we needed. The yurt was such a magical space, plenty cozy and warm even in the cold March weather. We may just have to come back!

Beautiful setting and kind host. You’re getting a “yurt in the woods” experience, so you should be prepared for that and all it entails, including bugs and heat (in summer) and a shared bathroom. If you have clear expectations for what this is going in (essentially, glamping; no cell service, limited remote WiFi) you will not be disappointed.

The yurt was amazing & we had an amazing time! The only issue was it was very hot and no air-conditioning. We brought a fan and a fan was provided. During the day was hot but at night it was better. If you are planning a trip to the yurt, I would recommend later or earlier in the season because it is very hot. We didn’t get to meet the host because she was away but she had someone to greet us and he was great! The yurt is just like it looks! Clean, in the woods and overall just like glamping!
