We truly want you to enjoy your time and make some wonderful memories with your group. That being said, this is not a party or gathering house for groups that can't control their noise levels. We have relationships with all of our neighbors who have our direct contact information. Quiet time is 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. Please stay indoors during this time, keep the windows and doors closed and keep the volume to an enjoyable but reasonable level. If it is loud enough to be heard outside in these conditions, it is too loud for you to remain our guest. This property includes a noise alert monitoring system in order to ensure that neighborhood noise levels are respected. Again, please realize we want every group to enjoy their time, laugh, have fun and make memories. These devices are only to ensure noise levels don't reach a threshold that bothers our neighbors. Also, please note there is no electronic video surveillance monitoring pools or spas, or on the interior of the house.

PET FRIENDLY: **There is a $100 pet fee per pet with a maximum of $300 (3 pets). Although we are pet-friendly please note your pet must not be left unattended at the house without you present, even if in a crate/kennel. What a house!! Beautiful and super creative. Lots of space for big groups of people. We hosted an end of summer bash and had plenty of room. Had a few questions first night of checkin that were answered very quickly. Great little “finds” in the house that the kids and adults all loved. The theatre is such an extraordinary experience. We loved this house!

Great anytime of year

We have thoroughly enjoyed our time at the mansion in both the winter and summer seasons. It is truly a peaceful and luxurious retreat with ample space for our entire group. The environment provides so much inspiration for the children’s imaginations and keeps them well-entertained, which allows the adults to truly relax.

Can't wait to return

I stayed at this beautiful house April and it was an incredible experience. It is a comfortable and spacious place, which despite its size feels cozy. It has a spectacular view and is surrounded by nature. It also has many multifunctional spaces with beautiful designs, where you can create the home of your dreams.

Truly Magnificent

I’ve stayed at this tranquil location twice and I found it outstanding in so many ways; not only is it warm and inviting, but it is visually stimulating and fosters creativity to all that enter. I love the spirit of calmness felt when entering the home. My wife and I stayed in the garden room. It was very romantic. I plan to go back soon. Truly, Magnificent!

Truly Magical

This exquisitely special place has been the perfect location for our family reunions. It is more than well appointed, it is MAGICAL. Every room is beautifully unique; from the bedrooms to the ballroom, and the library to the lanai. We love the stage in the ballroom for showing off our variety of talents. I would recommend this magical backdrop for any kind of gathering, reception or even a murder mystery party!

We really enjoyed our stay at Palais de Leon and had a wonderful family reunion here. It’s a beautiful, truly one-of-a-kind property with plenty of space for a large group. The pool and riverfront are amazing, beds were comfortable, and the home is full of unique rooms, antiques and amenities. We especially enjoyed the theater, paddleboards/kayaks and incredible liquor collection. The team also made check-in easy and provided a helpful tour. That said, a few things fell short of what we’d expect from a luxury rental at this price point. The hot tub wasn’t working when we arrived. Technicians came during our stay, but with no notice or updates, and we only discovered it was working shortly before leaving. The kitchen could also use updating. Cookware was old/mismatched and limited for a large group, the oven took over an hour to preheat, and the dishwashers didn’t clean well.Having to manually lock/check 20 exterior doors was cumbersome, and an electronic keypad would be a welcome upgrade. Finally, the advertised EV chargers are older Tesla chargers configured for Tesla vehicles only. Our Cadillac EV wouldn’t charge even with an adapter, so a universal charger would be helpful.Overall, we had a great stay and made wonderful family memories. With a few updates, this could truly be a 5-star luxury experience.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share such thoughtful feedback, and we're thrilled you and your family created wonderful memories at Palais de Leon during your reunion! Reading about your family enjoying the pool, riverfront, theater, paddleboards, and our liquor collection is exactly why we love hosting gatherings like yours. We also appreciate the specific feedback, since it helps us keep improving for future guests: On the hot tub, when we discovered the issue, we sent technicians out right away and wanted to confirm it was working properly before reaching back out, rather than giving premature updates. It was fully repaired by the next morning. On the kitchen, we do provide a substantial amount of cookware, but we always welcome suggestions like yours and are evaluating additional options to make things even easier for larger groups. On the EV chargers, they do support all EV makes and models, including Cadillac, but do require an adapter. This is noted in the pre-arrival materials we send ahead of your stay, so we'd encourage future guests to review those and bring the appropriate adapter, or reach out to our team beforehand if any questions come up. Thank you again for such a detailed and generous review. We'd love to host your family again soon!

Staying here was such an incredible experience! We stayed over Father’s Day with 13 people and it blew everyone one away. The beds were all so comfortable, the activity’s available in the home made us want to cancel our plans for exploring because everyone loved the house so much! Breakfast and dinners went from basic meals, to luxury dinning experiences out by the fountain. Calm evenings turned into excitement, games, pool time and movies in the theater room. A truly magical place for memories to last a lifetime! Communication with the host made for everything to go smoothly when checking in and before our stay. We were greeted upon arrival and given a quick tour to go over how to work things and to have all our questions answered. Which for a house this big, it was necessary and very much appreciated. I highly recommend staying here to anyone considering, especially if you have a bigger group or family as we did! It beats having to book multiple hotel rooms and it’s far beyond worth it!
