Bright, with high ceilings and a warm atmosphere, it invites relaxation. Wooded grounds, fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, and a cozy loft for reading. ARCHITECTURAL FEATURES:
Spiral Staircase – Architectural Feature
Access to the loft is via a beautiful spiral staircase imported from Italy, a central element of the chalet’s unique charm.
As is common in many A-frame homes, the staircase is narrower than a traditional staircase and may have slight natural flexibility due to its design.
It is solid and safe when used normally; however, it may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility, unsupervised young children, or those who are uncomfortable with spiral staircases.
Please take this into consideration before booking.

We chose Mansfield-et-Pontefract because it is one of the hidden gems of the Outaouais region. The area is known for its beautiful natural surroundings, peaceful atmosphere, and easy access to outdoor activities throughout the year.
Located near the Ottawa River and surrounded by forests, lakes, and rolling hills, it is a perfect place for visitors who want to relax and reconnect with nature. Guests can enjoy hiking, kayaking, fishing, and exploring the many scenic spots nearby. In the fall, the colourful landscapes are especially breathtaking.
The region also has a warm and welcoming small-town feel, while still being close enough to larger towns for restaurants, shops, and services.
