From the moment we walked in, I was genuinely moved by the level of care Sylvia had put into our stay. A handwritten note, chocolates, a generous bowl of fresh fruit (which my kids devoured), and a fridge stocked with essentials — milk, bread, butter, bottled water, and even fresh produce from her garden. It was thoughtful, personal, and so appreciated.Sylvia’s communication was exceptional throughout — before, during, and even after our stay. She was always prompt, warm, and incredibly attentive. The breakfast setup was fantastic (muesli, cereals, coffee, hot chocolate, Nespresso pods), and my favourite part of each day was enjoying a quiet coffee on the deck. When we asked about the fire pit, Sylvia went above and beyond — organising everything, including marshmallows and lighting for the pathway. The kids were so well catered for too — games, puzzles, and even a surprise tub of Lego that kept them happily occupied for hours. The home itself is immaculate, cosy, and exactly as pictured, with so many thoughtful touches (HEPA filters, plenty of linen, even teddy bears for the kids). It feels secluded, yet is still close to everything.Sylvia is truly one of a kind — a genuinely caring, attentive host. We couldn’t recommend her and her home more, especially for families looking for a peaceful, welcoming stay.
My favorite part of each day, morning coffees on the deck. I would spend a good hour or two here each morning. Brekkys and lunches were always on the deck!
Smart TV, lots of space, games and toys for kids, it was comfy and clean with everything we needed.
Enjoyed a few slow lazy days. Lunch on the deck.
The kids LOVED this!

We moved from New Zealand to Australia five years ago, and eventually found our way to Bellbird Park, it feels a little closer to home, reminding us of where we grew up. There’s nothing overly fancy here, but that’s the beauty of it. It’s a place to slow down, take a deep breath of fresh air, and simply unwind. You can enjoy stargazing at night, watch the sunrise and sunset, and wake up to the sound of birds. One of our favourite things is the reserve bush track, which you can access directly from our backyard, perfect for a peaceful walk in nature.

Why they chose this property

What we love most is how calm and quiet it feels. You’re surrounded by greenery, you can hear the birds, and at night the sky is perfect for stargazing. It’s the kind of place where you can really slow down and switch off.
At the same time, shops, cafes, and other essentials are just a short drive away, so it’s easy and convenient for your stay.

What makes this property unique

What makes our place special is the peaceful, nature-filled setting with beautiful valley views. You’re surrounded by bushland, can wake up to the sound of birds, and at night enjoy clear skies perfect for stargazing. It’s all about slowing down and unwinding, whether that’s sitting by the fire pit with marshmallows, sipping a warm hot chocolate, or simply taking in the view. At the same time, you’re still close to shops and everything you might need, so it’s both relaxing and convenient. The space itself is clean, simple, and designed to feel calm and comfortable.
