The rental was nice, clean, quiet and beautiful views! It was nice to be able to have our fur babies with us. Our only issue was with a 24 foot pontoon the parking was a little rough. We made it work, the host stated we could park the trailer across from the rental. We used the DNR launch down the road. The boat launch on Iroquois was too shallow. It was nice to have the boat right on the property! Quick responses from host also. We would rent again for sure!

Beautiful place to stay, the only feedback that I have is if someone is planning on utlizing the upstairs in the summer, to bring some fans. The A/C does not cool up there and there were no fans on site. Thankfully, I was able to borrow some from my sister who lives on the canals. Otherwise, everything is new and very clean.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this Houghton Lake property. The home was very clean, and the location on the channel provided a quiet, peaceful setting that made for a relaxing getaway. We especially appreciated the aluminum dock right off the seawall which made it convenient to park our boat during our stay.Parking for a truck and boat trailer is a little tight, but the host generously allows guests to use the two-car garage if needed. We were also grateful that our dogs were welcome. The host thoughtfully provided a vacuum and cleaning supplies to help manage the shedding that comes with traveling with pets.There are some good restaurants in Prudenville. Buccilli's Pizza and Randy's Restaurant was good, and we enjoyed breakfast at Garrett's Place. We also had dinner at Cut River Grill near Higgins Lake that was really good. Although this is a newer VRBO listing, the home was exceptionally well stocked. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a nice selection of spices, and there were plenty of towels and household supplies available. Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves. Alex was quick to respond, accommodating and attentive, and we would gladly stay here again.

Everything was just as listed .. quick response from host and polite .. one thing to note if taking pontoon and bringing trailer back to house not much room to maneuver but we made it work .. had everything we needed and quiet friendly neighborhood. I would stay again . Thank you
