Lovely Cabin in the Middle of Nowhere
This little cabin was perfect for our long weekend getaway. It was just myself and my teenage son and we had more than enough room. It feels like you’re borrowing your friends’s cabin not staying in a rental property. The kitchen has just about everything you need. There are books to read, beautiful views to take in, fun hiking, and quiet. There is NOTHING close by so be sure you bring everything with you because running out to the store quickly for a forgotten something isn’t going to be quick. There are also some fun, quirky places to visit within an hours drive like the Bigfoot museum. The internet isn’t great which was perfect for disconnecting from the world and connecting with the people you’re with. This property would be perfect for a family getaway or even a few couples wanting a weekend away together.

A GEM for families looking for a secluded getaway!!
Okay so this one.I... what can I say? This one right here is a hidden treasure! Things you'll need, fishing poles, live bait, 2nd ammendment tools for safety purposes(hogs) and a big net..... for the capture of Bigfoot of course! You'll also need a solid week of your time(for your families sake) and take the adventure of your lifetime! Oh yeah you'll need a 4WD pickup that fits the family for the trail to the river. You can walk it city folk, but there is definitely some wildlife here and it's a spooky hike back to the cabin in the dark along Little river. This one isn't for the lake cabin folks looking for leisure and convenience, this one is for the family of 5 needing an escape, seclusion, and a reboot on life! ONE things for sure though, before you go here, plan this, get a grocery list/menu for your stay(entire stay to make it easy and fun, dont forget the PB&J), pack the a few extras you may need, paper plates, toilet paper, first aid kit, snake bite kit, bug spray, Wasp Killer(it's 150 acre river basin of mother nature so expect the unexpected) and take your kids(small and mid teen) to capture a family moment here! Enjoy your stay as a family, and I/we will definitely be back, my kids are talking go pros and a winter adventure hunting the "Legend of Little River" here!! Thanks Guys we all had a blast on our retreat here!!!

Scouting SE OK
It was great to snag a comfortable space in this scenic part of Oklahoma and explore, as I’m preparing to move to the area. While it is remote, it is beautiful and the local people are lovely. The property was accessible, secure, clean, cozy, and private - a great escape for anyone that’s looking for it. Heck, I’d go back even after moving in down the road!

We've been steadily developing vacation getaway homes in Choctaw (or Kiamichi) country for years now. Our hope is to grow the eco-tourism options here and provide additional employment and entrepreneurial opportunities for locals.

Why they chose this property

This house is part of 150 acres bordering a quiet, undisturbed section of The Little River. The house itself was abandoned when we found it. Some of the old growth trees along the river are larger than the official state records for their species. There were cattle present for years - recently removed. We'll get the land back in shape over the next few years.
