Once the Elim Church (formerly Methodist), this architectural gem has been lovingly reimagined-preserving its steep gables, unique original windows, and spiritual serenity, while infusing it with playful modern touches and cozy interiors.
Open plan living, 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, fully fenced, unlimited Wi-Fi & Smart TV.
Inside, you’ll find a harmonious blend of rustic textures and contemporary design: native Kauri panelled walls, restored timber floors, curated artwork, and plush furnishings that invite you to linger. Each room has its own unique decor, the living areas has multiple spaces to relax, read, and ponder or to entertain, and laugh with friends and family. The kitchen is a stylish nod to retro charm, while the living and dining areas bask in natural light beneath lancet windows and vaulted ceilings.

The master bedroom has a king size bed and ensuite, bedroom 2 with a queen, while the 3rd room has both a queen and single bed. All have quality linen supplied.
The well equipped kitchen has a full size fridge/freezer/water dispenser, dishwasher, microwave, air fryer, sandwich press, large electric fry pan and more. For the BBQ lovers there is a 4 burner right there on the back deck for you.

Fully fenced, the back yard captures the afternoon sun where you can laze in the hammock, have a fun game of swing ball or simply sit beneath the deck umbrella and enjoy the ambient surroundings. For indoor comfort there is a fresh air system that goes continuously into each of the bedrooms as well as the living room. There are 3 onsite parking spaces - plenty of room for both cars & boat.

Less than 750 meters to the heart of Coromandel's township, it is an easy, flat walk to all shops. restaurants, bars and amenities.

Named in honour of the owners’ beloved dachshund and a nod to its history, the House of the Long Dog celebrates its past with a wink and a wag.
