This charming cabin was wonderful. We went on many walks from the back door to trek around the neighborhood and check it out. The tree in the back was perfect for hugging and getting that “tree hugging picture”. We were able to see a couple deer grazing in the front and the back and that was sweet. Just a quick walk down a small hill and you can go see a small creek in the woods. Only downfall, and we were warned by the owner, is the lack of phone service, but as a family trip, I was fine with that. Less screen time with my adult sons meant more talking and game playing time. There is WiFi though. It took us about 2 hours or so to get to Sequoia National park, because of the driving on mountain roads, but wow are the giant trees unbelievably majestic. We’d go back for sure, but those mountain roads can be a bit scary, but oh so beautiful.
