Everything the listing promised. Quaint little cottage right on the water. Our family of four loved staying here. Had fun fishing, swimming, having camp fires and family time. This is a cottage so be prepared to respect the water usage. If you are looking for a relaxed comfortable stay by the water this is a great place for you.

A great home base for a busy weekend. The host was responsive and the property was rustic, but comfortable. We only wish we had more time and better weather to enjoy the water!

Cute place, decent location. Access in and out of the water was questionable in terms of safety. While the weather wasn't the best for our stay , we could see where it should be standard to have at least a canoe or kayaks or paddle boards available to make use of in the beautiful Lake that we overlooked. The spider population needs to be controlled. This is a well-known problem when properties are located close to water. We can't be spending our evenings killing spiders inside the property before going to sleep at night. The bed was not friendly. It could certainly use an upgrade in terms of mattress comfort. This is not a property that we would return to for a weekend get-away.

Chelsea Lake was beautiful, especially the sunsets. The cottage was a little more rustic than we realized. It was clean, but could use some updates. The location, relative to things we like to do, was ideal. Close to Sauble, Southampton, The Saugeen River, Owen Sound, etc. We enjoyed the fire pit and dock area. Good value for money.
