Classic Sauble Cottage- River directly behind, beach right across the street!!

This classic cottage will be sure to bring back those old school Sauble beach vibes and more importantly create some new memories with your family!
With the Sauble river directly at the back of the property, enjoy your morning coffee or read a book lounging by the beautiful river, or take a short 30 second stroll across the street to the beach to lounge in the sun!
There is a small launch for kayaks or canoes, and a rock wall dock with rope mounts for guests who want to bring along their boats. (boat launch at the end of the road for bigger boats or sea-doo's etc, no cost).
The outdoor space has many wildflowers and plants to help the environment, while the path leading down to the river is where the fire pit and grassy lounging area is, while the BBQ and picnic tables are located closer to the house.
With the beach so close, yet tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Main Street, you and your family will enjoy full access to both the beach and the river any time of day without having to worry about parking or heavy crowds etc.
If you decide to go explore the Main strip, it’s only a short 10 minute bike ride or a 5 minute drive.
Enjoy convenience of Deli Meats & More and The Beach house for ice cream (both right down the road) if you don’t feel like venturing too far!

There are 4 bedrooms in total, with the 3rd and the 4th conjoined (Juliette room, this would be good for kids) the 1st and 2nd bedroom have Queen beds, while the 3rd and 4th having a double bed in each.
There is one bathroom, with a standup shower (no tub).
The cottage is equipped with laundry, dishwasher, portable A/C upstairs.
There are 2 screened in sunrooms at both the front and the back of the house, two picnic tables and some lawn chairs provided.

Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
You will be required to dispose of your garbage and recycling at the local dump prior to your departure. The address and info is located in the binder, it is a short 5-7 min drive from the Cottage.
Please ensure that you wash all dishes.
Please remove any personal belongings and leftover food.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
We are on septic, please ensure that nothing other than toilet paper is flushed down the toilet.

Excellent location and great hosts. This is a rustic cottage with charm. Just the way i like them to be. The river access is great if its a west wind on the lake you can still hangout at the river akd be shielded from heavy wind. Canoe to the falls is a great experience. Would do again!Pet friendly as well is a big plus. With good neighbours.

Host was fantastic. Very responsive. Location is beautiful. We loved launching our kayaks right from the backyard. It was great having peaceful mornings right by the water and evening sunsets were seen. The cottage is rustic but has extras we weren't use to in other sauble beach cottages (laundry, dishwasher, wifi)! We will hopefully come again. Our boys are teenagers now so it is harder to get everyone together!!

Our stay was absolutely fantastic. Beautiful area. All updated amenities. If you’re looking for a place to stay that is in the perfect location with the owners having great personable, informative knowledge of the area and a general feel for you to make the most of your stay. This is the place!! We will most definitely be back yr after yr.

The location on this property is amazing!!! Just steps from the beach, and all amenities close by. The host were very easy to get a hold of and very accommodating and welcoming. The house itself is clean, minus some sand and a lot of cobwebs. If you are looking for brand new accommodations, or are scared of spiders, this may not be the place for you. To prepare you, the Home is older, the floors upstairs are unbalanced, and there is a damp smell that comes with a lot of cottages and septic systems. Renovations should be done upstairs and the dehumidifier does its best. The main floor is very cute, the kitchen is well equipped and the hosts have provided everything you’ll need, and then some. We spent two nights, three days there with two teenagers, two tweens and two adults women. We made a great time of it, in spite of the cool and mostly rainy weather and being spider season. Fun memories were made and we would stay again!

A beautiful getaway with so many options available! You can chill by the beautiful River or walk steps to put your ties in the sand with an amazing view of the lake. The owners were reliable, supportive and friendly. 10/10 must go! Can’t wait to do it again

This location was incredible. Feet from the beach with a water access to the river was fantastic. The staircase was a little precarious at night when you needed to use the washroom as there is only one on the main floor. The portable air conditioner on the second floor did its best on the super hot days.

It was in a great location. Not far from everything. Go do a day trip in Tobermory or Southampton. The falls are down the street. The rental is rustic but has a lot of tge modern amenities. Won't be disappointed
