Escape to a rare elevated lakeview retreat on Michael Lake, located just under an hour from the GTA. Set on over 3 acres of raised land, this modern (2017-built) cottage offers breathtaking near 360° panoramic views of the surrounding water and landscape—allowing you to enjoy both sunrise and sunset from the same property.

While the property overlooks the lake from all sides, direct water access is nearby via a public launch, making it easy to enjoy kayaking, boating, and other water activities without compromising the privacy and elevation of the home.

What makes this place truly special is the experience it creates. Our family has enjoyed many memorable moments here—from birthdays to New Year celebrations—and we’ve designed the space to comfortably host gatherings while still offering quiet areas to relax.

Designed for large families and groups, the cottage features 5+1 bedrooms and accommodates up to 14 guests comfortably (Two additional guests may be considered upon request for an extra fee).

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds, gather used towels and store extra beds
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Septic: toilet paper only. No wipes/grease. All garbage must leave with you. Any waste left on property = extra charges.
Return all outdoor and pool furniture (chairs, umbrellas, etc.)to original locations. Do not adjust or interfere with pool equipment (pump, heater, robot). Leave pool and deck clean and free of debris
Turn off all lights, appliances, BBQ, and set thermostat to standard settings. Close and lock all doors and windows. Check all rooms and outdoor areas. Report any damage or issues before departure.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
1. Guest limit Max 14 guests. Up to 2 extra (max 16) only with prior approval and extra fee. No unregistered guests allowed at any time.
2. Visitors / events No parties/events. Day visitors beyond booked guests only with approval extra fee. Unauthorized gatherings not permitted.
3. Enforcement Any rule breach (guest count/events) may result in immediate cancellation, extra charges, or loss of deposit.
