About this property

Perfect NEW family-friendly townhouse close to Winter Park! Great views!

If you are looking for a modern, large, luxurious, clean, family-friendly townhouse with great views and close to Winter Park and the Fraser River, this is it! Four bedrooms - a rare find in a townhouse. Two car tandem garage allows parking for two cars, with easy entrance from the garage into the ground level mud room, with a nice built-in bench for leaving jackets and shoes. Come on upstairs to a modern and clean living room and kitchen, perfect for fancy entertaining or a simple and cozy family night at home. There are two master bedrooms - one on the same level with the kitchen and living room, with a serene mountain view towards the rear, and one master on the upper level, with beautiful views of the Fraser River Valley and Byers Peak. There are two more bedrooms on the upper level - a nicely appointed queen bed bedroom with incredible morning light and views of the mountainside, and a great room with a spacious double bunkbed - with a Pac-Man arcade game attached to the wall!

Amenities inside include nice high quality bedding, a super comfortable sofa, and modern and clean appliances and kitchen area. In fact, the entire townhouse is always very clean because it is easy to keep it that way with hardwood floors, tile, and new carpeting in the bedrooms. Our kitchen is very nicely stocked, and we keep a cupboard with some shared cooking items such as spices, cooking oil, etc, which can vary depending on what was recently left or used. We do ensure that there is always fresh ground coffee for our guests to use in the drip coffee maker - a necessity for us in the mountains!

Our townhouse is uniquely situated with wide open views of the Fraser River Valley in front, with Byers Peak in the distance, and privacy in the rear, with dramatic views of the mountainside rising straight up from the rear of the property. From both the upper level front master bedroom or the living room, you will look out onto the Fraser River Valley, all the way up to the slopes at Winter Park and beyond. There is a great deck off of the living room, complete with comfortable outdoor seating and a gas grill, perfect for cooking burgers after a nice day outside. And in the private backyard area is a full-size hot tub, perfect for relaxing after a day of skiing, biking, hiking, or just enjoying nature! The hot tub is regularly serviced and cleaned between guests.

Finally, we love our townhouse because it is so well situated - it is in the desirable Rendezvous Community, which allows access to hiking and biking trails. You can either go behind the townhouse onto a nice 2-3 mile loop hike that is a perfect way to get a bit of exercise without being too strenuous, or you can walk out front to join up with the Fraser River Trail, which goes for miles in either direction. If you are skiing/boarding at Winter Park, you can either make the short drive to park in one of the parking lots at the resort, or you can walk five minutes from the townhouse to the bus stop close to Highway 40 that will take you right to the resort without the hassle of driving and parking. Plenty of good dining options are just minutes away in either Winter Park of Fraser. The nearest grocery store is just a five minute drive away. One more perk - if you enjoy cross country skiing (as we do) as well as biking or hiking, it is just a five minute walk to the groomed cross country trails along the Fraser River.

We do allow well-behaved pets - we love our dogs and enjoy travelling with them ourselves, when we can, so we like to extend the courtesy to like-minded pet lovers, with a small pet deposit that goes straight to our cleaners so that they can do an extra good job. Our house cleaners are top notch and very attentive to thorough cleanings after all stays.

One more thing - our townhome was previously managed by a management company, and had a 10-star rating based on multiple 10-star reviews! We expect to have 10-star reviews again soon, but can't link to those previous reviews since we decided to manage the rentals ourselves. So, we are offering our place at a nice discounted rate as an encouragement for new bookings, while we build up some reviews.
