Why they chose this property
Strathcona is Vancouver's original neighbourhood, and our home is one of the city's first! The community vibe runs strong here. Neighbours smile and say hi, chat together at the local cafes and even bring picnics to the local park to enjoy Friday evenings together. Hard to believe that this still happens in a city of this size and in a place that's so close to the downtown core. We feel so lucky to live here! You're going to love it. :)
What makes this property unique
Built in 1894 and with official Heritage Status, our home was completely renovated in the early oughts. Now we have the best of both worlds: All of the fine craftsmanship and charm of a home of its age, but with new finishings. A historic home, in a historic neighbourhood with a strong community vibe, yet steps from the downtown core, we feel so lucky to call this place home. We think you'll enjoy it too. :)
