About this property
Miss Daisy’s Retreat is a cozy getaway that will comfortably sleep four adults!
Miss Daisy’s Retreat is a cozy 'glamping' getaway for couples/small families that loves outdoor life in the mountains! She offers a comfortable Queen Bedroom and a futon couch that makes it into a queen bed. She is conveniently located off US-321 on lot 106 @ Outdoor Resorts of Gatlinburg which is across the street from the Smoky Mountain National Park! Plus, her location is 10 miles to downtown Gatlinburg, less than a mile from Brent Creek Golf Course & 19 miles to Dollywood/Splash Country.
The master also includes a large dresser and closets for hanging clothes. The Living room includes two recliners in addition to the sofa. The 32” TV, DVD player, & stereo system make nights at the Retreat comfortable. The bathroom at the Retreat has a large shower with a skylight & glass shower door. We have stocked the bathroom with towels, washcloths, and toilet paper to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We offer sheets, blankets, pillows & pillowcases for the queen bed and the sofa. Just bring your personal items and enjoy your stay!
The kitchen is fully stocked (pots/pans/silverware/ cups/coffee maker, etc.) and ready for your enjoyment. It includes a RV refrigerator, gas range/oven with a microwave. The kitchen table will sit 2 but also holds 4 TV trays. The only thing you will need in the kitchen is food & drinks!
You can relax by one of two pools – an adult only pool or the family pool. If you like to fish, ORG also offers a stocked lake as well as two mountain streams that run through it. Additionally, the resort offers basketball courts, miniature golf, a children’s playground, game room, and picnic areas, as well as a coin-operated laundry onsite. ORG is conveniently located near most of the activities the Smoky Mountains have to offer. It is literally across the street from the Smoky Mountains National Park, less than a mile from Bent Creek Golf Course, 10 miles from downtown Gatlinburg, 15 miles from Pigeon Forge & I-40, 20 miles from Sevierville and 25 miles from Townsend & Newport.
Miss Daisy’s Retreat has long been a dream for my wife & me. Ever since I left the Navy in 1994 and moved to East Tennessee, we have dreamed of owning a cabin in the mountains. Raising three children may have put that dream on pause for a time, but we now find ourselves being able to share that dream with both our children & grandchildren. Miss Daisy’s Retreat may not be your typical cabin in the mountains, but we have gone out of our way to make it look & feel like a mountain cabin. Honestly in Outdoor Resorts of Gatlinburg with all the amenities, we feel she is better than any mountain cabin we could have bought. Please take a minute to look at all our pictures, both of our “cabin” and of the resort as well. We think you will find it as appealing as we have!

About the host
Hosted by Bob & Trudy Ashcraft
I'm a U.S. Navy Veteran, Father of three, and Grandfather of four. My wife & I live ~ 50 miles west of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park (Cades Cove Entrance) and in my opinion, some of the most beautiful scenery our great country has to offer. Of course there is no better way to see and enjoy that landscape up close than there is by camping! Some of my best memories growing up were the weekends I spent with my Grandparents camping, and I always wanted to give those same type of memories to my Grandchildren! My wife & I have truly enjoyed our travel trailer and the times we have spent with our grandchildren and hoped to be able to give those same type of memories to others!
