When I chose this place, I was focused on price and location. This is not the Taj Mahal. But the location was spectacular for what I needed. The check in could have been more user friendly (like many travelers I took the aerobús to placa Cataluña…the host could have met me at the bus drop off with my name and guided me to the property. I wasted about 45 minutes trying to figure out if I was going the right direction. The property is VERY basic. Old linens, old mismatched dishes, dorm room style furniture. No basics like salt, pepper, coffee, paper towels. The WiFi works as long as it’s charged up with money. And doesn’t work well in the bedroom. The space was a walk up 2 levels. …but again, I did not pay big money. So I got what I paid for. I share these insights not as a complaint, but rather as an opportunity to know and make a decision whether this will work for you. I knew I wasn’t getting fancy. But I loved the location and location won. By the end, I felt quite at home in my humble surroundings. And I made it work well for me. Would I pick it again? Perhaps. It would really depend on whether I wanted that location or another. On location, (easy access to points of interest, transport within the city and to the airport, easy to walk around, felt safe) this wins all day long.

Large and confortable mattress with A/C in the room. In the vibrant center of Barcelona next to Media Markt, Corte Ingles. We really enjoyed staying at the property and would stay there again in the future. The check-in was smooth and the flat very clean. I recommend 100%
