The location of the apartment is fantastic to visit and enjoy Barcelona,it is in the city center, and after that, you can have a comforting rest with your children or your partner because it´s incredibly quiet.

It is a top-floor flat with elevator in a typical building of the beautiful 'Ensanche'.
It's very well located. The main tourist sites are situated at a 20-minute-walk from the apartment. (5-10 minutes by underground)
It's perfect to go to Barcelona Fair or Congress (5 min. walking)

The airport is at a 15-minute-drive.
High-Speed Train Station (AVE station) is situated at 10 minutes from the apartment.

April 1-11We had a wonderful time in Barcelona due in large part by having this wonderful apartment to return to. It always felt like coming home. We would definitely recommend Raul and this apartment if you are planning to visit the area. You can walk to many attractions, always felt safe. It was wonderful. Our stay with Raul and Carmen was one of the best experiences ever . Their apartment is a clean, quiet and nicely decorated place in the 5th floor of a pleasant neighborhood. With the elevator its easy to get up, the place is sunny and warm, the beautiful terrasse was still to cold for us to use in february. I loved that the apartment is not directed to the street but to a very big yard, it means you don't hear any traffic noise. Raul and Carmen are very warm and welcoming hosts, Raul even found the time to come pick us up on the airport. They offered a fruit basket in the apartment, coffee, tea butter and compliments for the breakfast, drinks in the fridge and plenty of helpful information about the surroundings and how to get from A to B. We would always come back to their place and we can highly recommand it

The apartment was very clean and exactly as listed. The neighborhood felt safe and walkable. It was close to public transportation and many bakeries/restaurants. I loved that there were two bedrooms! The host Raul was very warm and welcoming. He even picked us up from the airport. He has great knowledge of Barcelona and provided maps and ways to get to places of interest. He also left us a fruit basket, bottle of wine, bread, jam, coffee, milk, cokes, and beer. That was very helpful and appreciated. The apartment was cute, sunny and nice TV. There was terrace access but too cold outside to go to. Overall I would recommend Raul as a host and his apartment for anyone who wants to have a home away from home and in a neighborhood with very good access to all of the points of interest.

Our 1st visit to Barcelona was amazing, an absolutely stunning city with wonderful places to see, huge variety of things to do and fabulous food and wine. Our stay was made all the more special by the wonderful hospitality of our host Raul, from picking us at the airport, giving us a quick tour of the city, the welcome basket of fruit and wine to providing us with invaluable maps and recommendations of restaurants, supermarkets, bakeries etc. We felt really well looked after by Raul, he definitely goes above and beyond and it was greatly appreciated. The apartment is lovely, in a really good location, has everything you need with the added bonus of a roof terrace. We would highly recommended staying here and we will hopefully visit again one day soon.

We highly recommend this VRBO. It's in a residential area close enough to "tourist" areas to either walk or use the Metro - super easy.We can't praise Raul enough for all his help during planning and our visit. He went above and beyond answering our questions including providing links to attractions and maps when we arrived. He picked us up at the airport and made sure we had transportation to the port for our cruise. We felt like we became part of his family. The apartment was spotlessly clean and extremely well located in a quiet area of the city. The metro stop was within a short walk and there were some lovely restaurants nearby. Raul was a fantastic host and was incredibly thoughtful from the moment he met us at the airport. From the fruit basket and the thoughtful extras that were provided (milk, juice, wine and more), we could not have been more well looked after. What makes this property unique

It is a quiet sunny place in the city center. It´s very well communicated and you can walk to the main sights in town. There are a lot of a good restaurants, markets and supermarkets if you prefer to cook at home.
Barcelona Fair is close to the apartment.
It takes only 15 minutes to the airport by taxi or airport bus, and 5 minutes to Sants station where you can take the High-Speed Train (AVE) and go to Madrid in two and a half hours.
Other important thing is that we live in the same building, so we can help you on anything that you need quickly, so very personalized attention.
