A historic time of rest and relaxation at a historic property!

What a FANTASTIC time we had at Derry's Tavern. We enjoyed reading about the history of the house and could feel its presence in each room while also enjoying the modern amenities of today. While our little one enjoyed the pool, it was her stroll through the trails in the woods that that she continued to talk about during our stay. The giant picture window was great vantage point for wildlife and wildflower watching with a morning cup of coffee. We also took full advantage of the central location of the house by visiting some great wineries just minutes way, watched some horse racing at nearby West Virginia and had some great ice cream in historic Hillsboro. We are already dreaming of our return trip during the fall!
