Located steps from Lovers Point, this cozy romantic retreat sleeps 2. Walk to the beach, town, or golf course, and be greeted by the small-town friendliness for which Pacific Grove is famous. The bike/pedestrian path follows the coastline from Pacific Grove to Fort Ord and is 75 steps from the cottage. The bike path takes you to the Aquarium, Cannery Row, and Fisherman's Wharf with spectacular ocean vistas.. Excellent restaurants within walking distance.
The cottage is an easy drive to Carmel, Pebble Beach, and Monterey. A complimentary bottle of wine awaits your arrival.

Come to the exciting Pacific Ocean and watch frolicking otters, take long walks along the bike path (100 steps from our front door) for miles along the Pacific Ocean.: See sea birds swimming in the surf; monarch butterflies landing in the trees; waves breaking against a sandy beach, and seals calving at Hopkins Marine Station beach.

Leave your cares at the door. The cottage offers tranquility that will restore your spirits. We offer coffee, tea, water, and a complimentary bottle of wine to help you settle in as well as paper products and all linens and kitchen equipment.

Restaurants, shops : Everything you need to stock your cottage is within 10 minutes of the cottage. Walk 1 block to the beach-side grill with clam chowder in sour dough bowls with spectacular views of the cove and the open sea beyond. Walk 3 blocks to LIghthouse Avenue where a myriad of restaurants and cafes await you along with little shops for browsing and boutiques with stylish clothes. Enjoy a spa treatment 2 blocks away at Amara Spa or have a manicure on Lighthouse Ave. See a movie at our theater on Lighthouse Ave. Walk l mile to the Tin Cannery (outlets), the Aquarium, and Cannery Row which offer shopping, dining and exhibits.

The cottage has 7 steps from the curb to the front door and a slight, 4" rise from the sun room into the living room. The glass-enclosed, shower over tub has one grab bar. Our Pacific Grove License is 0020.

We absolutely loved this little cottage. The bed was so cozy and the shower was excellent. The kitchen had everything you may need to make meals. The location was also perfect. Just steps away from the beach and just up the street from the cottage were so many restaurants and shops. We would definitely stay here again.

Exceeded expectations

We travel to Pacific Grove semi-regularly and really like the area where this property is located. Short walk down to the coastal path or up to the local restaurants and coffee shops. Super quiet at night even on a holiday weekend. Decor and furnishings blend well with this early 20th century cottage. Comfortable bed and spacious kitchen-dining area that is well appointed. Plenty of places to store your travel necessities. The host was very responsive and answered all of our questions both before arrival and on departure.

Cozy Pacific Grove cottage

The Sea Foam Cottage was as described and it was cozy for the two of us. It's very convenient for walks or jogging along the beautiful Pacific Grove coastline and just a few blocks from many of downtown PGs places to eat.

We had a fantastic stay un this charming little beach house - perfect for visiting Pacific Grove and Monterey, as well as for activities in the area like horseback riding or exploring Carmel or Big Sur. We would love to be back one day

Perfect Location

This was our 3rd stay at Sea Foam. It’s a perfect location to Lovers Point , downtown Pacific Grove , aquarium and Cannery Row. The cottage is very comfortable and has everything you’ll need. It’s our favorite place to stay in Pacific Grove.

Pacific Grove Cottage

This cottage is exactly as pictured and described. Within walking distance to Lovers Point Park which is gorgeous both day and night. Easy to get around in Pacific Grove, great location for exploring local areas and taking a drive down Highway 1. The owners are prompt with email response and very gracious.

An Enchanting Experience with History and the Sea!

From the moment we stepped into the Sea Cottage we were enchanted! The history, sights, smells and sounds were such a relaxing and exciting experience! I had the best 5 nights of sleep I've had in years! The sun room was my favorite. The light is perfect for relaxing, reflecting and reading. I hope to return to this little piece of heaven! Wonderful stay at the Sea Foam Cottage

Everything about the Sea Foam Cottage was perfect for our 30th anniversary trip to Pacific Grove, where we spent our honeymoon. Communication with Jill was easy and she was very thoughtful to give us contact info for just in case generator needs due to storms (luckily didn't need it) I would recommend this property to anyone and everyone. Easy to walk to everywhere, including the beautiful ocean. Can't wait to return!

Perfect seaside cottage

My husband and I came here for a long weekend to celebrate his birthday. This cottage was just perfect with all the amenities of home. We didn’t cook, but there was everything you would need to make a meal in their cozy kitchen. We enjoyed coffee on the enclosed patio with a little peek of the ocean. A one minute walk out the door and your at Lovers Point, or less than a five minute walk to Lighthouse Avenue. Comfortable bed, very clean cottage, and plenty of hot water and the house heated up nicely. Wound come back 100%!

Amazing location

Absolutely unbeatable location and just right for a single or couple. Quiet location, historic home, beautifully decorated. Easy street parking. One block from Lover's Point and the start of the bike trail from Pacific Grove to Seaside! Easy ride to Cannery Row, the Wharf but best of all to a bike trail adjacent brewpub Dust Bowl in the old Monterey train depot just past the wharf. What a daily wonderful daily ritual to walk on the coast and watch whales and otters then bike to the pub! Or walk just a few blocks to downtown Pacific Grove and many wonderful restaurants away from the tourist traps! We'll be back!

Gem on the Monterey Penninsula

Forget Pebble Beach. Forget Monterey. Forget Carmel. This cottage in Pacific Grove is the best of all. Next to magnificent shore, beach, kayak/bike rentals. Short walk to ridiculously good restaurants at Lovers Point and ‘main street’. A mile stroll to the aquarium. You can see otters and seals from the shore. 17 Mile Drive, Point Lobos State Preserve (a must see) and Big Sur short drives away. The cottage itself is true to the pics/description. Completely quiet at night. And the host, Jill, was a pleasure to work with - we had cancellations in the Sierras due to road closures and she was able to accommodate an addition to our schedule. Can’t say enough about my wife’s and my experience.

Perfection!

To say I loved staying at this lovely cottage would be an understatement! The minute I walked in, I felt like I had come home. This well-appointed cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay and the location cannot be beat. I do so appreciate that the owners have retained/restored the historic character of the property. So often these days I see beautiful Victorian homes that have had the character renovated out of the them to the point that the interiors look like urban lofts. If you are looking for gleaming stainless steel appliances, six shower heads, and gray walls, this place is not for you. If you are wanting a welcoming, calm place to rest while nestled in historic charm, you have arrived! Jill was wonderful to communicate with and I’m looking forward to my next trip to PG and hopefully, a longer stay. Many thanks, Jill!

Cute house with a fantastic location

Overall, the stay at the house was wonderful! The location is steps from Lovers Point. We walked to a great walking path and were able to rent bikes to enjoy a fun day without our car! The house is adorable! Very cute with decor that made it feel like home. A few small things which prevent me from giving it 5 stars: the mattress on the bed definitely felt worn - our feet felt higher than our heads and the support on the mattress was not great. The water temperature in the shower was great, but pressure in the shower was very low. One note for light sleepers: there's a dog next door that barks at 6AM every morning. Not holding this as a negative against the property management, just want future travelers to be aware of it. Overall, it was a great place to stay and the location is perfect! If you don't mind the few things noted above, then I would definitely recommend it!

I vacationed in Pacific Grove as a young girl with my family. My husband learned Russian at the Defense Language Institute when he was stationed in Monterey while in the service. We loved the area and it kept calling to us.
