3/5 — Overall, a decent stay with some areas for improvementAs discussed with the host, they are relatively new to hosting and are making efforts to improve, which we appreciated. Communication with the host was good throughout our stay.There were a few things that could be improved. The water in the upstairs bathroom was not draining properly, and the downstairs bathroom did not have an exhaust fan. We also found a pizza left inside the oven from a previous guest, which we had to remove ourselves.Since we parked our car in the backyard, we felt the backyard could use some maintenance and tidying up. The house was otherwise reasonably well equipped with plates, glasses, and other basic items.One thing we particularly noticed was the lack of a light at the front of the house. Since we arrived around midnight, better lighting at the entrance would have made it much easier and more welcoming to arrive at night.Overall, we had a decent stay, and the host was communicative and receptive to feedback. With some improvements and maintenance, we feel the property could provide a much better experience for future guests.
