Comfortable house in scenic location!

Wonderful stay!

My fiancé and I had a wonderful stay at this property. The home itself was in great condition, and had everything we needed for our week long stay. The hosts were very responsive every time we had a question, which was greatly appreciated! We would highly recommend this property to anyone coming to the area!

Great Home Away From Home

We really enjoyed our stay in the cozy cottage. Michelle and Mike thought of everything to make our stay as easy and comfortable as possible. They were also very quick to respond if we had questions. We loved our stay!!

Our stay at the cottage was wonderful! It was very clean and stocked with everything we needed. It’s a very peaceful location, the perfect place to unwind after a long day hiking or sightseeing. The owners were very quick to respond to any questions we had too! We had a great experience!

Wonderful getaway

The cottage was lovely and well stocked. We were able to enjoy ourselves completely here. We were extremely comfortable and loved the house's location. We watched bunnies eating every morning as we gazed at picturesque forests. Would definitely stay there again.

Absolutely loved this house. So comfortable and Michelle was an amazing host making sure we had everything we needed. Very quiet neighborhood with excellent neighbors. Perfect location for hiking from Acadia to Lubec. I would certainly recommend this house for anyone looking for a peaceful vacation.

Peaceful place

The house was perfect for a getaway. Away from the business, but not to far from popular places to visit. House was clean and had everything you would need to cook at the house.

Maine vacation

Place was comfy and charming. Easy to find with GPS. Great ammenities. Only problem was poor water pressure when the sprinkler was running.

Hi Melinda, Thanks for leaving the house so clean and tidy! It was a real treat when we got there to get it ready for the next guest. We apologize for the water pressure; we never gave it a thought that it might effect the pressure in the house. We've now adjusted it so it runs in the middle of the night. Thanks again!

We had an absolutely lovely stay here! The property is private but close to really beautiful scenery. The house was so clean and well stocked. The sunroom is wonderful to relax in and the study made it possible for my dad to work with a stable internet connection. Would a 100 percent recommend!

Beautiful House

Nice house on beautiful private lot. Location close to everything you could need, but in a quiet area. House was very clean and in terrific condition. Nice size rooms, everything even better than the pictures suggest! Great house to stay in.

Great house in quiet location

We loved our stay! It was close enough to the Bar Harbor/Acadia excitement to see everything but wonderfully relaxing to return to a quiet, comfy house at the end of the day. The hosts were very accommodating and responsive. Loved seeing the starfish at low tide at the tidal falls preserve just 10 min from the house. Would definitely recommend.

Great place, Centrally located to park food. Beautiful cottage with everything you need for a stay. We were here for our son’s wedding at Schoodic point. This was the perfect spot for us to unwind from wedding events. Michelle and Mike were very prompt with communication. Can’t wait for another opportunity to stay again.

Wonderful stay.

The cottage is a gem. Location was perfect for exploring Acadia and Bar Harbor. The beds were very comfortable, we loved spending time on the porch in the mornings and evenings. Michelle was quick to respond to any questions we had and was attentive and pleasant. There was nothing lacking for amenities. We would love to come back someday.

Perfect cozy property

Loved coming back after a long day of hiking in Acadia to this warm cozy home. Michelle was a wonderful hostess keeping in touch with us and providing us with comfortable beds, pillows, as well as a well stocked kitchen with needed utensils for cooking. Would return again!

Quiet and Comfortable

We enjoyed our time at the property. Peaceful to return to in the evenings after days adventuring in Acadia, Bar Harbor, and on the Schoodic Peninsula. The kitchen was well equipped for our needs. We also enjoyed use of the grill on our nights eating in. Would recommend to friends.

Great Place

This place provided everything we needed and then some. The enclosed three-season room that was not pictured was a great bonus. They also provided fresh flowers and a bottle of wine complimentary. I contacted them a few times about some questions via test and they were always very quick to respond. I can't say enough great things! We would definitely stay again.

Great host with a great property! Roomy, well equipped, comfortable house that was very clean. Michelle was so responsive every time we sent her a question. We wanted to visit Acadia and several harbors... but we didn't want to be in a crowded area. The location was great for making day trips to each location on our list and it was right on top of the Tidal Fall Preserve which we enjoyed stopping by on our way in and out every day. Michelle's restaurant suggestions were also spot on. We would highly recommend this property and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Sorrento home

The home has been recently remodeled by the owners and is very beautiful and comfortable. It is very close to Sorrento which is a small fishing and summer residence village. Sorrento, Maine is similar to one of my favorite places, Sorrento, Italy in that both share beautiful views of the ocean. The home is also very close to Acadia national park, several state parks and the ferry to Isle au Haut. Blue Hill, Castine and Bar Harbor can also be great day trips. All told we had a great experience.
