We really liked the location and everything you needed was in the apartment. You are only about 10 minutes or less away to Acadia Park and Bar Harbor. There was also Sumisby Park which was less busy just a couple minutes away. The apartment had a comfortable recliner and a futon was that was not very comfortable along with a smart tv. Dogs are allowed and myself who does not have a dog did notice a lingering dog smell which opening the window helped. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
Great little place out side the craziness of bar harbor, but close enough to get there in 10 min. The only thinking I would recommend is if you plan to do any cooking you need to bring or buy any spices and all you need (salt and pepper) for example is typically provided.
It's a simple apartment, but it's appointed with everything you need to make a comfortable home base for exploring Acadia. Only about 20 minutes from all parts of the island and beautifully secluded from the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor and other more crowded places. My husband and I had a great time here, and will definitely see if it's available on our next trip to Acadia!
We had a great time in Maine biking and hiking. Great restaurant right across the street (Abel's). Our hosts were excellent and the neighbors were very welcoming too. Would definitely return!
This place was great! Very convenient stay for Bar Harbor and Acadia national Park- 15 minutes away. The owner was very communicative and let me know everything I needed to know before arriving, I had very little questions. Everything was clean, very basic place to say, just what we needed.
We chose this rental for the proximity to the carriage trails for biking and Somes Sound kayaking. The rental was comfortable, handy to have the washer/dryer, and we enjoyed having a smart tv after a long day of physical activity.
Cute, comfortable home that was recently renovated!
This is a comfortable home with everything you need for your stay around Bar Harbor and Acadia. We spent a week here and enjoyed great sleep in very comfortable bed. We rented both parts of the home and had a group of 8 stay comfortably. Even though we were close to everything, this house is away from the busyness of town, and we found it a great place to relax. The hosts were great to work with and provided some wonderful local welcome gifts like fresh Blueberry pie and jam. 5 Stars to Aaron and Erin!
