Some aspects of this property are truly rustic, but if you enjoy being out in nature you’ll love the beautiful outdoor shower, our favorite thing. We had a housekeeping issue, but Joe responded immediately. There’s a hot plate and microwave but no stove. We only ate breakfast there. The one bed upstairs is very high and we have to use a step stool because we’re short. We love the quirkiness of the barn’s decor. This was our second visit and we’ll be back.

Fun lodging! Loved the outdoor shower and funky decor. Beds were comfy and the location near a lot of beaches and restaurants. Yard is large and private. Would be good to have some small bowls, a hotplate or induction plate to cook on and a can opener, but those are minor concerns. Spent most of our time exploring RI. Would stay again.

We had a hard time seeing which property was the right one when we arrived. Since there isn’t an exterior photo on the listing, we were guessing. We loved the quiet and uniqueness of the property for the time we spent there with our family. It rained a lot when we were in the barn and there was some leaking by the doorway. The instructions for TV use and arrival need to be made more clear and descriptive. When I reschedule out with questions the contact listed sent me another number of the person to ask, so there was difficulty with direct communication and responsiveness. There was also leaking from the shower down to the first floor. The property owner accused us of clogging the outdoor toilet that we didn’t use or even go near during our stay, not to mention this was two weeks after we stayed there. We were overall happy with our stay until I received a message accusing us of something that we had nothing to do with.

Such a cozy stay! We loved the barn aesthetic of this rental, and our favorite features were the outdoor shower and the balcony off the bedroom. This small space has plenty of room to rest your head. Upstairs there are three full-sized beds (not queen), so if you plan on sharing a bed, plan to snuggle up. One of the beds is quite high where those who are shorter than 5’7, might need a step stool or a boost. There are also plenty of spaces downstairs on the couch or sleeper bed to also utilize. As far as the kitchenette, it has a small dorm-sized fridge so bring coolers if you want to keep all your items cold. They do have a microwave, but unfortunately no electric skillets, or toaster. And there is a charcoal grill outdoors. They have plates and utensils as well, but did not notice any sharp knives for cutting produce. (We like to snack at the beach). Getting in was quite easy and since we were arriving late at night, the host had left us the key and turned the lights on for us. There are sensor lights along the path to the barn, but I do recommend having a flashlight handy just in case. Quiet neighborhood and close proximity to beaches. Would definitely recommend!!

My grown son and I stayed 3 nights. Rustic but comfy. The 4-poster bed is comfy, the other 2 beds less so. The bathroom is small for large people but fully functional. There's also an outdoor shower. Even so, the stay was everything we expected and required. Easy driving distance to a number of excellent beaches.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the barn, which was an excellent “home base” as we explored the area and spent the weekend going back and forth to beaches, shopping and restaurants. The barn is solid, well supplied and furnished and decorated with funky decor. The owner does live on the property but this was not an issue and we had pleasant and limited interaction. There is a fun fire pit area that looked great but we did not use due to weather and limited time. A beautiful outdoor shower (and finished toilet area) was a big plus as the bathroom inside was quite small. This was not a problem for us but if you are a very tall guest it may be a tight squeeze. The upstairs loft bedroom was very nice with additional seating and relaxing space. Prior to the stay I wondered about the air conditioning covering the entire space, but both the downstairs and upstairs have Mini-Split units that work well and keep the entire rental comfortable. As others have mentioned, there is no full kitchen – just a mini fridge and microwave with counter space and a sink. This was not a big deal as we used the barn to prep for our Beach days and did not eat meals there. We did bring our air fryer from home in case we wanted something quick. We did notice some cobwebs here and there, and did a little bit of swiffering on our own, but hey… It is a barn and these things are unavoidable. It did not get in the way of our experience. Overall, we had a wonderful stay here and a great weekend.

The barn was perfect for our group of four while we attended a nearby music festival. We only ate coffee and pastries for breakfast there and had all our other meals out, so the tiny microwave-only and mini-frig kitchen wasn't a problem. It had lots of room to relax, and despite some initial reservations, we all loved the outdoor shower. The full sized beds are smaller than usual, so they might be a bit tight for two adults. The queen bed is very high and required either a step stool or a flying leap for us to get up on. There is no dining area besides the counter, so eating must be on the sofa or chairs for more than two people. All in all, it was a fun experience for us and we would stay here again. I've tried to add photos but this site keeps rejecting them for some reason.
