Hood Canal Waterfront Home Fantastic Views Crab, Boat, Kayak, Fire Pit, Hot Tub

Large 3080 sq. ft. two-story home with a wheelchair accessible first floor. Wheelchair accessibility includes a large gourmet kitchen with double ovens, an island, dining room with custom table that seats 14.

Entire home is tiled, slippers or flip-flops recommended.
A spacious living-room, bath and bedrooms are easily maneuvered. Wheelchair accessible shower on the main floor. The second floor offers the master bedroom with a king-sized bed, a large master bathroom including a 2-person soaking tub, and separate walk-in shower. Two bedrooms with a king size bed and one bedroom with a set of twins. The second bathroom on that floor has a walk-in shower as well. There is also a recreational room on the second floor and WiFi throughout the house and property.

This beautiful property (1.91 acres) backs the Olympic National Forest and offers 135' of low bank waterfront (easy access to the beach). De-stress in the 6-person jetted spa on the patio; make smores in the fire pit (which is wheelchair accessible) show off your grilling skills on the gas barbarque. Patio furniture and firewood provided.

Wade in the water, walk on the beach, gather oysters, go crabbing (seasonal), take the kayaks or boat out for a spin; all right out the front door. Crab traps, boots, life jackets, fishing poles and much more for your use.

You may just prefer to relax on one of the 2 large view decks and watch the eagles, kingfishers, cranes, seals, (too much to mention) if you're lucky you may even spot orcas.

We are dog friendly, $95 per dog per stay plus tax for approved dogs. You will need to fill out a pet addendum and agree to our rules before approval. Maximum of two dogs please.

Great for large families

We enjoyed our stay at this house, but there were some minor drawbacks. We found the inside stairs quite hazardous to anyone with mobility issues. Steps quite steep and narrow. Also wasn't aware of just how close the house is to the main highway (101) so we could hear every car screaming by throughout the day/night. Wish there were some double-paned windows to drown out the traffic noise. But the house was extremely clean, everything worked, and it's proximity to the water was incredible (just a short trek down some steps across the street and you're in the water). Loved the included crab traps (with complimentary bait) but didn't partake. House came with 2 kayaks as well but felt it might have been a little dangerous trying to get them down to the water from the house. I would highly recommend this house to anyone with large family as it had plenty of bedrooms (including one on main floor). Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Great place on the canal

I/we have stayed in multiple places along the hood canal over the years and this is probably one of the best. From the easy access to the water to the outstanding views and closeness to lots of activities you can’t go wrong with this place.We had a group of six friends that get together every year for New Year’s, and the place was perfect for usGreat value great location. Super nice place.The hot tub with a view of the hood Canal is an added bonus that you can’t pass up

Family Gathering

Wonderful layout for multiple branches of family gathered for holiday. Multiple king beds and bathrooms so each family had private comfortable space. Great kitchen for feast making.

We had a great time at the house. It has everything you could need, beautiful views and if was great fun using the rowboat. Also within great distance of many great sites in the peninsula. Property owner was extremely responsive.

Paradise in Hood Canal

Really a wonderful place to stay! The house is well appointed and has plenty of beds! The view is magnificent, the owners go out of their way to make sure your stay is perfect. Even have crab pots and bait for the more adventurous guests. Also a hot tub available! Highly recommend this property!

Great Accessible Property

We had a very nice stay with an older family member that required a wheel chair. This property provided ample room and accessibility options! It also provided a lot of space and sleeping options for those going upstairs! The local Elk Herd and a trip to Hama Hama were highlights! And the sunrise views are not to be missed!

The worst part of our stay were the stairs, we’re old! The kitchen area was our most popular place, played many games at the huge table. Owners were very friendly and responsive to our questions.

Perfect weekend away from it all

We were snowed in and had a wonderful time being cozy in this beautiful spot, taking long walks, enjoying the hot tub, and the gorgeous views! Everything was clean, working great, and had what we needed. We would love to come back with a group sometime!

Fun Weekend

Our women's book group had our Spring retreat here and had a wonderful time. The house is ideal for a large group and has a well equipped kitchen for those of us who enjoy cooking. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit. Every day we were treated to sightings of Eagles, Heron, Seals and much more. Wish we could have stayed longer.
