Living Room: This gorgeous living room is elegantly decorated and a perfect place to relax and spend time with your family or group. Watch a movie on the flat screen TV or kick back and enjoy your oceanfront view of palm trees swaying in the wind and waves crashing on the beach. This bright and open room is sure to delight you!

Kitchen: This kitchen has everything you need to make a home cooked meal or a few tropical drinks. Enjoy the full size appliances and amenities you need for your vacation. Gather around the dining table with seating for 4 and spend some quality time together.

Bedroom: Wake up to incredible oceanfront views from your comfortable King size bed. This room is bright and open but has a sliding retractable wall for additional privacy. Enjoy your own private bathroom and large closet and storage area for your things when you stay in this room.

Lanai: Step out onto your large private lanai and sunbathe on the lawn chairs or enjoy appetizers and drinks as you overlook your incredible ocean views. This unit at Mana Kai is very nice! Being on the 7th floor means beautiful ocean views every day. The kitchen was well supplied although an electric tea kettle would have been nice. We’ve stayed at many units at Mana Kai because we love the location and we would definitely recommend this unit! Clean, bright and well appointed. The most beautiful beach right at your doorstep. Wailea and Kihei restaurants and shops within a five minute drive. We will be back!
Grills right outside make it easy to prepare fresh fish daily! Try South Maui Fish Company for best fresh fish!

Beautiful ocean view. Host communicated very well and access was simple. We could hear the waves at night which was wonderful. My only complaint if there was any is there is no AC. So if you come from cold climates you will feel toasty. Before the week was up we did finally acclimate. We would stay there again for sure.

A Great Stay!

We really enjoyed staying here. The property was clean, the host was communicative, and the resort property was in the perfect spot. Having laundry onsite was a huge plus, and the snorkel rental folks in the resort were super friendly. The central location and free parking spot makes this a great homebase for exploring Maui. Would absolutely stay here again!

Great Place!

This is a fabulous location and amazing unit! Loved laying in bed and being able to watch whales. The team reached out to make sure our stay was comfortable. Only disappointing moment was when an item was left in the room after checkout and there was zero effort to retrieve and return it. Thanks for a good stay!

Excellent Location

Excellent location with beautiful small beach to enjoy. Unit itself is in need of a new dishwasher- the soap dispenser does not close any more and the rack rollers are shot. New linens are also in order. The ones on the bed had a stain. Very nice property and I would stay here again!

Love the location

AAOceanfront rental agent Michelle went out of her way to assist. Unit does not have air conditioning and unit overall needs updating. Besides those issues, everything else was fine and you can’t beat the view and the beach.

The view was worth the stay

We have stayed at Mana Kai several times before this stay. The view is awesome. We were disappointed in the unit itself. The kitchen was out dated. We thought there would be more items (spices, outdoor cups w/lids, cooler etc.) to make our stay more confrontable. We had two different friends that stayed in different units and they had all the things in their kitchen you needed and all the things you needed for hanging on the beach all day. There were a couple sand chairs but, not like our friend units that had nice Tommy Bahama chairs, umbrella and coolers. Over all, we had a great get away! How could you not in Maui!

We actually do not require any beach items in the unit. It is completely up to the owner if they would like to provide chairs, coolers, umbrellas, or any other beach equipment. Awesome place, best location on the best beach in kihei!

Rental was easy, did not need anything so communication not needed during stay! This property is the most beautiful place on the beach, always my favorite! Great lanai with the best view, very relaxing! My only problem this time was the restaurant and store were closed down! The restaurant next door also closed down. This meant if we wanted to eat or have a drink we needed to get in car a drive a bit. Pool side bar and food also closed down. This all was stated as part of the property when we rented. I will be reaching out to see if price difference should be considered. I still would of stayed here but felt it should have been discounted. This by far is my favorite place to stay on Maui!

Not typical of Mana Kai Maui

I can look past the need for an update, but my husband had to unclog the bathroom sink while I mopped the filthy floor. There were NO cleaning sprays or even soap at the kitchen sink. A deep cleaning is very overdue. This is one of the few units never updated with A/C in the "main" area. This was never a problem in past years(we've stayed at Mana Kai since the 90's), but it was uncomfortably warm (even for us as Floridians) late in the day. PROS: The bed was clean and comfortable, adequate kitchenware, and proximity to the beautiful beach & sounds of the ocean. We still enjoyed our stay, but will rent a different unit next time.

Outdated & dirty

This unit needs serious updating, no matter how much we tried to clean it it just felt dirty. There is NO A/C which is not listed. They have absolutely no “extras” there is salt and pepper but both so old I wouldn’t use them. There were clothes in the closet and I’m the drawers which tells me it wasn’t cleaned properly. We have stayed at the Mana Kai about 8 times and this was by first the worst unit. Would not stay here again. I hope the managers share with the owners that this place needs an overhaul.

Aloha Michelle, We apologize that you were not happy with the Condo. We do advertise that when renting out the A side of the unit there is no AC . However if renting the entire unit there is AC on the B side of the condo. We did call upon arrival and departure to see how your stay was going and went and was not told about the condo being cleaned . If we knew you were unhappy with the condos status we would have loved to try to make it better by having cleaners come back .

Mana Kai Resort Unit 701

We have enjoyed staying at the Mana Kai Resort on a number of occasions. It's a great building - incredible ocean views and access, easy and good snorkeling, beautiful beaches for walking, close to town and a nice restaurant. We reserved the main condo of unit 701. It is well used and could use a little TLC - a thorough reorganizing and clean up. AA Oceanfront Rentals is always helpful and responsive before and during our stays. Aloha!

Mana Kai and beach location

The Mana Kai and beach location are great. The beach is endless beautiful sand with great snorkeling and a turtle that swims by every afternoon. The Mana Kai has a great happy hour and nice restaurant. This is a destination resort. You don't need to go anywhere unless you want to.

Old Fashioned Elegance

This is a 50’s style resort that is right on the beach on the sunny side of our favorite island. All the activities you might be interested in are nearby. Every west facing unit has its own private lanai with an incredible ocean view. Our unit was comfortably furnished and well equipped.
