About this property

This home will bring back childhood memories. Recently remodeled back dock with fire pit, covered dock. Take one of the 5 complimentary kayaks out on the river, or enjoy the Large Aqua Lily Pad! Plenty of space for everyone to enjoy inside including Smart TVs with complimentary YouTube TV . You can spend the evening enjoying the views of the sunset from the water or playing a game of Ping Pong underneath the carport. VERY children friendly. NO real Boat Traffic, shallow water 3-4' to walk to the beach, deep enough to swim/kayak and even take a Jet Ski. Great for kids of all ages but also fun for adults. MAXIMUM 13 guests and 5 parked cars at all time - Please email me for any exceptions.

***COVID PRECAUTIONS - In additional to extensive cleaning/washed linens, all guests are supplied prepackaged new sponge/dish washing pods, and prepackaged washing machine pods***

The Space:

Recently renovated, this 4 bedroom home with new foam mattress/pillows throughout and 3 bathrooms has plenty of space for everyone. Recessed lights throughout for a bright/open concept. Large 50'x30' Sandbox with Umbrellas for endless play! You can enjoy the large backyard, entertain on the dock with a fireplace, swim, walk over to explore the sandy beach, take out one of the 5 complimentary kayaks with provided life vests, use the large lily pad, sit by the fire pit, play a game of ping pong, and lots of other fun activates to create the perfect memories with your friends and family.

The Master Bedroom has a King Bed and en-suite bath with a Smart TV. Bunk Bedroom has 2 twin over full bunk beds and a Smart TV. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed and a connected bathroom into the attached Casita. The Casita is a full 1 bedroom suite with its own entrance or can be accessed through the main house. The Casita has 1 bedroom, shares the bathroom with Bedroom 2, living area with a daybed, Smart TV with complimentary Youtube TV,a kitchenette with a sink, microwave and mini fridge. You can lock the door connecting to bedroom 2 for a fully private experience.

I enjoyed spending time with my family. I’m disappointed that the AC was not turned on before we got there. Especially when it’s hot outside. The rooms were great. The water pressure in the showers were awful. It took forever just to wash my hair. Getting into the water was easy but getting out was horrible. I’m picking a better spot next time for our get together. Plus there’s no privacy at night because there were no blinds or curtains in the living room area.

Great Place

We had a great time overall. We all had plenty of space and enjoyed the water. The house was really nice and clean. There was plenty for everyone to do with kayaks and the kids really enjoyed the Lilly pad. The only downside was the common space is a bit small for our group and the grill needed maintenance. But overall we had a great time!!!

Not enough supplies for duration of stay

There were not enough bath towels overall for the complete stay for each person. There are no lake towels provided. The kitchen was not equipped with any baking dishes. There were not enough basic supplies: laundry soap, kitchen trash bags, dish washer soap, bathroom essentials, etc. for the entirety of the stay. There are sticker weeds all through the property including in the sandbox. While there is a warning to wear shoes because of clams, shoes had to be worn during all outdoor activities because of sticker weeds. The casita was very difficult to cool off. No easy way into the water; the launch was very slippery and no latter to get in or out. The location is good for kids because of the depth of the water; neighbors very friendly.

Great house right by the water

We loved our stay at this property! The water level was perfect for floating on the lily pad and just visiting and catching up on the dock. Beds were a little firm for my personal liking, but not so much that sleep was bad. The house is just far enough from the main road that there is not a ton of traffic, it close enough that a trip to HEB was not a hassle. We know if we brought our kids with us next time they would have a blast! We would definitely visit this property again!

Great getaway!

Two families with a total of 4 boys 6 and 7 years old, we had a blast the place worked out great. This part of the river is perfect for kids, not too deep!

We have been coming to Kingsland for the past 15 years and finally decided it was time to have a place for our kids to make Lake Memories. Only a short 1 hr trip from Austin, our kids have grown up fishing, boating, kayaking, and making great memories in Kingsland. We have fantastic neighbors and have made long lasting friends in the area. We want to share this with your family and we treat our guests like family.
