Stay was excellent. No surprises, no trouble with the place or the host. No issues during our stay. Climbing wall was hours of fun for our son.Spa was clean and hot. Overall, great stay!
We were generally positively impressed with the Chalet. It was well-heated, well-equipped, comfortable, had a great view, and we were especially impressed with the kitchen equipment, which was important to us as we cooked our own food (there aren't many restaurants in the neighborhood).
There were also issues that we wanted to mention, because they are important to know *before* booking this place. First, and foremost, the toilet and shower are in the same room as the bed, with no acoustic barriers. This was a bit awkward for us, but might be really unacceptable for people who are not intimate partners. This should be made clear on the website. Another minor annoyance was that there were zero hooks to hang up clothes or towels, and no bed-lights, so no reading in bed, sadly. And finally, the fact that a 4-wheel-drive vehicle is "recommended" to get up the very steep slope to the chalet is something that should also be mentioned clearly so people know this before they book. We were really lucky that we happen to *have* a 4WD car, and there wasn't much snow during our visit, but if there is heavy snow and you come all the way up there with a normal car, and you can't get up that last slope, that can be very annoying.
