It features an entryway with a closet, a fully equipped open kitchen with a washing machine, dishwasher, and oven... A very bright living room with large floor-to-ceiling windows, furnished with a sofa and a large-screen smart TV. One bedroom with a 160×200 bed and a large closet. A walk-in shower and a separate toilet. A terrace where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, aperitifs, and dinner. You can park your car right nearby or in my locked garage. Bike storage available. Beautiful forest walks, on foot or by bike, a visit to the Cordouan Lighthouse, an UNESCO World Heritage Site, the troglodyte caves of Meschers, and the La Palmyre Zoo, which spans 18 hectares and is home to over 1,500 animals representing 115 species. For golfers, there are two magnificent courses: the 18-hole Royan Golf Course and the 9-hole La Palmyre Golf Course. There are also charming villages to visit, such as Mornac, Talmont, and Meschers with its cliffs.

Lovely apartment wrong location

Apartment was perfect anything and everything you could want and maybe more. But it just wasn’t in the right location 2 minutes away from a clay/muddy beach. A couple of restaurants on the beach which were just full at the evening and really overflowing with people (no wonder covid isn’t going away) I just couldn’t do it. The shops are a good 20-25 minutes away so had to use the car for carrying bulky shopping especially in the hot weather we had. We found another beach 25-30 minutes walk away which was a lot nicer. With shops and eating places around it ideal beach we loved that one. Only 5 minutes in the car and lots of free parking along the beach for you 👍🏼 Only thing with going to the beach or living near a beach is the sand. Constantly sweeping it up or vacuuming and mopping up. But even though you pay for the cleaning at the end of your stay I still like to keep on top of it. But it wasn’t too owners liking and was bombarded with abuse txts ( unprofessional and uncalled for). Plus it’s advertised with parking and we parked where we asked too park. But was texted to move our car and park on the main road, which we were reluctant to do as it could get busy on the road. Question would I recommend this apartment maybe yes if you don’t mind walking about which we didn’t or if you have ocd then it’ll be perfect

Regarding the location of the apartment in relation to local shops. I had reported that the shops were 1 km on foot, so not too far in my opinion. For the beach, there are two available and many others near Royan. For parking I asked not to park at the bottom of the slope because the owners of the residence refuse it. I offered my closed box for free. For restaurants, it is essential to book in advance during this summer period. For cleaning, it is not because there is a cleaning fee included that you have to leave the apartment very very dirty. I am also very surprised because I called them regularly to find out if everything was going well and they always replied that everything was perfect and that they had nothing to say!!! They had a great stay their message of Friday, July 22: : Everything is fantastic thank you. We are having a great time just relaxing and your apartment is perfect

Appartement idéalement situé à 300 m de la grande plage de Royan. Tout équipé et très agréable. Excellente prestation pour ce bel appartement bien décoré.

Très joli appartement

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans ce joli appartement aménagé avec beaucoup de goût et de charme. Situé dans un endroit très calme il est néanmoins proche de l’océan et des commerces. La gentillesse et le professionnalisme de la propriétaire sont également un atout.

Un Très bel appartement bien situé

Catherine est une hôte adorable et extrêmement accueillante, aux petits soins pour ses clients. L’appartement est très agréable, spacieux, très lumineux, très bien équipé, décoré avec goût, et très bien situé,et d'une propreté irréprochable. Rien ne manque! chaque pièce est équipée de clim, ce qui est appréciable en période de grosses chaleurs. La literie est très confortable, le quartier très calme. De plus nous avions une petite attention de bienvenue. Nous sommes enchantés et nous reviendrons avec un grand plaisir !
