About this property

Charming and Secluded Mountain Cabin for Couples near Eureka Springs

Dear Trail Cabin, nestled within a peaceful mountainside forest, with abundant wildlife and unprecedented seclusion, provides an authentic mountainside cabin experience which allows guests to get back to nature and provides the promise of being dazzled by the environment that surrounds you. We're rustic....but not TOO rustic for those who enjoy being pampered just a little bit.

Known for its abundant charm and luxurious accommodations, privacy and serene atmosphere, our cabin is the perfect getaway for the romantic at heart. Our cozy and inviting home features a King Bed (lovely forest view visible from the comfortable bed through French doors), 2 Beautiful Stone Wood Burning Fireplaces, Extensive library with a variety of books, Futon, and Flat Screen Smart TV. Cabin also has a functional (but limited) kitchen to prepare your favorite meals and a charcoal grill on the totally private deck, which is covered for outdoor dining even in a gentle rain. The bathroom provides a 2-person Jacuzzi tub that also serves as a Stand-up shower, an antique makeup table and a private room for the commode. Outside the cabin you'll find a fire pit with everything you need to enjoy a relaxing campfire....just bring your firewood, marshmallows and hot dogs!

Deer Trail Cabin is accessible with any kind of vehicle and is less than a quarter mile from the main road (although you'll never hear it). We are only minutes away from Eureka Springs, Beaver Lake, White River and Thorncrown Chapel. Enjoy many varied activities as you boat on Beaver Lake, float the White River, kayak, hike a trail in the Ozark Mountains, fly fish, mountain bike, climb, or even enjoy community theater and the many other attractions in and around Northwest Arkansas. Take in Eureka Springs for its highly-rated restaurants, coffee shops, art galleries, antique shops, vintage clothing and craft shops, parks, natural springs, quirky tours and let's not forget the bars and micro-breweries! If you have time for day trips, check out the nearby towns of Fayetteville (home of the Arkansas Razorbacks), Bentonville (home of the Wal-Mart museum and Crystal Bridges Art Museum (spectacular) or nearby Branson, MO and Table Rock lake. Or you may choose to bring your supplies, never leave the property and just enjoy relaxing or exploring the 10 acres of mountainside behind the cabin. Many guests do just that!!! (Dogs especially love it because they can run off leash!)

Shabby Chic Charming
We loved this stay, everything was as advertised, not much negative to say about it, if I were to drum some up… we wish there would have been some k cups for the keurig already at the cabin but definitely not expected, the jacuzzi barely filled up enough before running out of hot water but it was enough, a couple nuisance flys and couldn’t find a fly swatter but a towel worked to take them out, other than that the place was very charming and private, the host was great and worked with us on check out time which was nice because it was “spring forward” and we lost an hour of sleep, there is a cabin nearby named “hoot owl cabin” and we literally saw a hoot owl right outside it and when I got to “deer trail cabin” down the way I got to show my wife my owl calling skills and hoot back and forth with it. Will return someday to revisit.
