About this property

Home on the River, near National Parks (2!) and Skiing

Situated between Mt Ranier National Park (12 miles to entrance), and Gifford Pinchot National Park (entrance literally across the road). This newly built home with a view of Mt Ranier is on 600 feet of river front, with soaring ceilings in the great room. 1700 feet of deck lets you enjoy outdoor living after a day of exploring Mt St Helens, Ranier, or world class trout fishing. Herds of elk are frequent visitors in the morning and evening with nearly 3 acres of open and wooded area to graze and this happens to be a favorite river crossing spot of theirs. In winter, you are 25 minutes from the newly expanded White Pass ski area, or the nearby town of Packwood (2 miles) which hosts one of the worlds larges flea markets on both Labor day and Memorial day every year. Mt St helens is an hour away, with many great view spots along the way, and you can get to either Seattle or Portland in 2 hours.
