Great experience all around. Nicely stocked kitchen, comfortable furniture, and quick communication with the owner. Totally reasonable drive back (to the hot tub!) after a long day skiing, and good access to food and supplies in the very walkable downtown.
The cabin was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. It provided easy access to White Pass ski area. The hot tub was clean and very nice after a day of skiing. The host communicated very well and made our check-in, stay, and check-out very easy.
The views were beautiful and breathtaking. The cabin was exactly what we expected. It was a great place to relax in the hot tub after exploring Mt. Rainier.
Everything was absolutely great. Communication was great house was great bed were comfortable hot tub was amazing! The driveway is a little steep so be aware of that. Very accommodating and lovely stay.
Our stay at this cabin, encompass everything that we were looking for in our little getaway. The cabin was super cozy, very clean, and enough off of the beaten path that it gave us a secluded feeling. It had everything that we needed in the kitchen to cook meals, comfortable beds and bedding, and a living room that was cozy and inviting… with a wood burning fireplace that we kept going almost the whole time we were there. The hot tub was wonderful as well! This cabin was the perfect place to relax, read, and reinvigorate.
Lovely cabin in a great location. It was our first time travelling to WA State and everything was just perfect. Even saw some Elk meandering through the property!
Beautiful and quiet location, all as advertised. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and seeing the resident elk every so often. Best place for dinner is the Blue Spruce.
It was a cozy cabin overall. My only holdback from giving it a 5-Star stay is the available seating. I completely understand it is a small cabin, but it did make it challenging for our family of 6, 2 adults and 4 teeens/preteens. There is only 1 three seater couch and a kitchen table that seats 4. Everything was clean, close to town, and close to White Pass. All things considered it was as expected for the price and the owner was very responsive! Thank you!
Very clean and very comfortable! Even though neighbors are in view it still felt very private while enjoying the hot tub in the evening with a beautiful view! It was a perfect place to do a load of laundry and relax after a backpacking trip in Mount Rainier NP. Would absolutely stay here again.
Great place. Host was very accommodating with excellent communication. Easy check in and easier check out. Other places we stayed in Packwood did not offer any view. From here you are surrounded by trees and view of foothills. Covered deck was a great place to enjoy a beverage. Kitchen has everything you need. All things seem to be in working condition.
The cabin was perfect for our family of 4. Great location for exploring Mt. Rainier National Park. We enjoyed nearby Packwood Brewing for dinner, ice cream and live music. Mike was a great host offering us early check in and a very easy check out process. We would definitely recommend this property!
Wonderful stay with cozy fireplace and relaxing hot tub!
We had an amazing experience staying at this property. The indoor fireplace added a warm and cozy atmosphere, and the outdoor firepit was perfect for evening gatherings under the stars. The hot tub was a great highlight — clean, private, and very relaxing after a long day of exploring. Everything was well-maintained and comfortable. Highly recommended for a peaceful getaway!
The cabin was spotless and modern and our host was very responsive. Beautiful view from the deck where we enjoyed seeing both deer and elk. Very close to town, lots of hiking nearby and easy access to Mt Rainier, which unfortunately had limited access due to road constructionduring our stay.My only suggestion to future guests would be to pack your own food because dining options in Packwood are very limited!
