Place is really nice. Well furnished and stocked with everything from coffee and condiments to shampoo and conditioners. Would recommend this place to anyone. Has a beautiful view of the cove from the deck.
We enjoyed our stay at this lake house ! Good location very nice clean home ! Boat access right there on property...and very nice people to rent from...we would definitely stsy here again. Thanks The Horton Family !😀
Great weekend getaway. Boat dock was great for easy access to go fish. House sits in a quiet cove off main lake for peaceful mornings. Owners were very helpful if we had any questions or needed help, and were quick to respond through the VRBO app.
If you need a place… look no further!! This is it!!
The home was clean, cozy and ready for us when we got there! We had family that came to meet up with us there. The balcony upstairs has an amazing view and we were all able to sit together and enjoy it! We will definitely book this home when we come back to visit!
We actually weren't able to make it. The hurricane destroyed my families homes in Asheville and weren't able to leave. I hope to schedule a stay in the future. :)
Clean house. Very nice and helpful owners. Enjoyed it every day. My grandbabies loved the stay. We didn't have to drive far to the places we went. With the grand kids noise wasn't a problem, no matter how loud they got.
Wonderful place to stay. Hosts were available but did not bother us at all. Home was immaculate. Large deck off Master bedroom. House was directly on the lake. My family brought their boat for a day, very easy access to water. Quiet and peaceful area and house. We floated on the lake for hours. Highly recommend and will book in the future.
The property was nice , however we were not told there would be a dog on the property right in front of where we are staying.. when we got there we were told it didn’t like other dogs .. we had pets and our older dog was terrified of this dog .. it aggressively barked at them all weekend.. other than that it was a nice house and views…
The homeowners were absolutely wonderful. Beautiful property, peaceful and restful. We had a wonderful time with my family at Thanksgiving and this is a fantastic area for treasure and antique hunting. Lexington seems like a rather special place. Everybody was nice and small businesses have a unique atmosphere. if I had any suggestions at all, we were here for eight days and the kitchen could’ve used a few more accoutrements. I also thought the owner fees were very high with everything considered. I would recommend this property to anyone.
The house was fine for a weekend stay and there were no issues with check in. There is a short fenced dog-pen at the only entrance to the house. The two dogs inside the fence were incredibly aggressive and would bark, try to jump the fence, and literally biting the fence as you walk by. Could not get good rest either as they would randomly start barking through the night.
Property was very clean and in a great location! We mainly stayed outside listening to music or fishing. The only thing I was a little surprised by was having the owners of the property onsite with us for the weekend. It was a little weird to be sitting outside, listening to music, and have the owners pop up to feed the dogs or need to use the outdoor freezer. Again, a very nice family. It’s just a little weird to have them pop up out the blue.

Doesn't fit the Vrbo claim "only your people, whole place to yourself". The "duplex" is connected by a sliding door that cannot be locked from your side. Came back from a morning on the water to find the door open. The yard outside of the rented portion of the house is fenced in for their two big dogs. They were nice to people but barked like crazy and tried to jump through the gate and under the fence to get to our puppy. I would not recommend bringing your own dogs here. The open yard space is outside of the owners half of the property. I also didn't feel the required insurance was necessary as the space is outdated and things like the bathroom outlets didn't work. We stayed out on the water and it worked for a weekend but if things like the dogs were listed in their listing information I would not have booked with them and will not book with them again.
The home is beautiful and very clean. Plenty of room inside and outdoor space for relaxing. I especially appreciated the personal touches such as make-up towels and many board games. Great location and perfect for fishing, which my son loved.
We had a wonderful 2 night stay here. Everything was as described or even better. We would highly recommended a stay here to anyone looking to stay in the area.
Cute property. Worked out perfectly bringing our pets. Fenced yard just for them. Dock is nice to fish from. Balcony was nice to have a beer and look over the water.
