Great vacation house

The house was perfect for our family. Everything was clean and fresh. Its close to the beach and 2 golf carts are provided, which is a big help. The check in and out was easy. We can't wait to go back.

Great memories made!

We had a great stay on our first trip to Fripp Island. Owner was wonderful to communicate with. Kids loved staying together in the large bunk bedroom and really enjoyed the sunroom with tv. Large master and a bath in every bedroom was a great feature. Perfect home for our two families!

Fun at Fripp

We just got home from a great family vacation at Fripp Island. This was our third year visiting Fripp and this was our favorite home! It is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The kids LOVED the bunk room. Toys are provided as well! We loved having 2 golf carts to travel around the island and to take to the beach. We cooked at the home during the week, and the kitchen was well stocked! The guys loved the charcoal grill. I enjoyed watching the deer in the back yard from the screened porch! Michele was a very helpful owner! Fripp Island is our favorite vacation spot!

Amazingly relaxing vacation

We had an amazing time! We had never been to Fripp, and Michele helped answer any questions that we had. She also quickly addressed any questions that I had while on the island - she made everything easy. She even sent back a few DVDs that the kids had left. The house was great for us - the kids loved the bunk room and screened in porch with TV. There were several DVDs and a whole bookshelf of books and games if you needed them. The beds were comfy, kitchen was stocked, there was a charcoal grill, and we didn't want for anything. The golf carts really made the trip. We loved using them to get everywhere on the island. Fripp was perfect for what we needed. We only left the island twice to go to Hunting Island State Park and to check out the surrounding area/eat out. The kids really enjoyed seeing all the wildlife and going to the nature/activity center on Fripp. There was plenty to keep us entertained. We also got to see the amazing sunsets each night at the beach, pool, or pier - not to be missed! We had a fantastic vacation and would absolutely recommend this house.

Spring Break 2017

This was our first trip to Fripp Island....I had a friend who recommended the island. I am a gulf girl. We always stay ocean front on the gulf, so Fripp Island and thus house was a big change for me and my family and I was skeptical. I definitely did NOT expect to fall head over heels for the island like we did. Michele's home was perfection. You always wonder how old/true the pictures are in a listing. Her home was just as described and just as the pictures showed. We had six adults and one child and had plenty of room. The kitchen was well stocked, except for scissors. Our only issue/complaint was fitting us all in the living room to watch a movie together at night, just not quite enough space for all of us. The two golf carts were great with our group size, as well. We are already planning a return trip this year and hopefully we will be staying with Michele again and for any future trips.

So happy you loved the house! I brought replacement scissors but actually found the scissors there when I arrived for our vacation. Summer time usually has such beautiful weather that the living room TV never gets used. We spread out to the porch often.

Pledge the Pink

A group of us stayed at the home for a breast cancer walk. The home is perfect as each bedroom has its own bathroom connected to it. The home is very spacious and the kitchen is fully stocked. We felt very relaxed and if Pledge the Pink comes back to Fripp Island we would definitely stay here again.

Great spot on Fripp!

What a lovely stay we had on Fripp. The house is updated and clean with plenty of kitchen stuff. The kids had a blast in the bunk bed room. We loved using the golf carts to explore the island. You are a short walk from the marina and a short walk from the beach if you go the other direction. We had wifi issues on the first day which was NOT the owners fault and they were SO GREAT communicating with us on a Sunday and immediately had someone out to fix it. We couldn't have been happier with our stay!

Fabulous stay

Our stay was wonderful. Great location- near the marina, not far from the beach. Loved having the golf carts. The house itself was well appointed with just about everything you need. The owners were very timely in their responses and made sure everything was taken care of. Would recommend!

The home is close to everything and the owners have provided anything you could need to make your stay enjoyable. This made our 7th summer at Fripp and we all agreed this home is one or out favorites. . . Highly recommend this property and the owners.

Exceptional Vacation Getaway

Where do I begin? The communication with the home owner was fabulous. Michele is very friendly and really cares about making your stay relaxing and fun. The house was top notch. Not only does each bedroom have their own bathroom but each comes with enough bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths as well. The laundry area has about 10 beach towels as well. In the kids room, there was a toy box full of toys and our 3 yr old loved it. The kitchen was well stocked with everything from pots and pans/bowls to a coffe pot and a crockpot. There was even silverware and plates/cups for the kids. The dining area sat 10 of us comfortably to eat or just work a puzzle. Not only does every bedroom/living room have a tv but the outdoor screened in porch has one as well...GENIUS! At night once it has cooled off, that back porch is perfect for popcorn/milkshake and a movie. The house even came with the quietest electric golf carts ever. They were fantastic and never went dead. The outside shower was great when we came back from the beach and wanted to shower off before going inside so we didn’t track sand...haha. I cannot day enough about this location either as it is right down the street from the marina so you are close to the Boathouse Restaurant which is very good and also close to the Marina store...great for groceries and bait for fishing. You will not be disappointed with this place at all. Thank you again Michele for opening up your home and being so sweet.

This is a great house, with nice amenities and excellent location.

We just enjoyed our 2nd stay at Reale Island Time. This house is a great option for two families or a large family. Since we visited during the Covid period and could not visit dine-in restaurants, we appreciated that the kitchen is well equiped and the charcoal grill is newer. Also, the two golf carts are just fast enough that you will not slow traffic. Lastly and probably most important, Michele is extremely helpful and easy to communicate with. She was nice enough to help us with an issue my brother-in-law was having at a property that was not hers.

Great!!!

The entire rental process was very smooth and Michelle was very easy to communicate with throughout the process. Very comfortable accommodations and all 10 guests loved the home and were very satisfied with the comfort of the beds, as this has been a problem at other houses we have stayed in at Fripp in the past. But not this year!!! Will look at this house again in the future!

Sweet Trip to Fripp

Great property for a large family. Bunk room was fun and cute for our grandchildren and the ‘every bedroom has its own bath ‘ was perfect for the grownups. The dining table sat 10 with the extra leaf plus the kitchen was large enough for multiple cooks to function. The kids especially loved the screened porch with its own tv and lounge furniture. The location was super convenient and having two golf cars kept us from having to make multiple trips to an from the beach and pools. We enjoyed it very much.

Exceeded expectations - will rent again!

Last week marked my fourth consecutive summer, vacationing on Fripp Island with college friends and family. Some of our "group" which can total 50+ over a two week period have stayed at Bonito Boathouse in the past, and a few have been visiting Fripp for the last 10-12 years. Michele and her family are very easy to work with...a key to planning, since I personally travel from CA, while others voyage from TN, NC, and SC. Michele is responsive and does her part in coordination. The location is ideal. The property sits back from the main road that leads to the boat ramp and Bonito Grill. In fact, the boat house and store is less than a quarter mile from the property - which makes morning runs for ice and bait extremely convenient. The main events center and pool is only a mile away in the other direction. The property comes with two golfs carts - extremely convenient, since two families (or partial families) will often split a residence...and like to have the flexibility to do their own thing from time to time. The house and amenities leave you not to "want" during your stay. In other words, Michele "gets it". It's equipped with everything you need, including beach towels; a washer/dryer; kitchen appliances; large dinning table; and even televisions in every room (including the screened in porch); a nice yard where deer visit almost daily from the surrounding wooded area. I personally took advantage of the outdoor shower. It's a large privacy shower with hot/cold water and very good water pressure. The beds are comfortable and rooms are sizable with nice, in suite bathrooms. There's a 1/2 bath downstairs off the living area which affords guests a restroom without having to enter any bedrooms. I'm sure someone from our group will rent this property again, when we return for our annual, summer reunion on Fripp Island. Please take good care and keep it pristine for the next time :). Michele will go out of her way to ensure your visit is memorable.

Great Vacation

The house is at a great location between the beach access and the marina. The pool at the marina was nice because it was less crowded and more relaxed. The screened in porch with the tv and the two golf carts that were provided with the house were a big hit. The only inconvenience that we had was with the bath towels. There were only two sets per shower and had to wash them every day to have fresh sets for everyone. Other than that the stay was great!

Excellent Property

This house has a very homey feel. I traveled with 7 families and this house was the best of all the rentals. Lots of decks and porch space The screened back porch even has it's own Smart TV . A large backyard is another bonus when you have children. Every bedroom has it's own bathroom, such a nice plus. The master bed is to die for. Sleeps so good. The kitchen is well appointed and easy for multiple people to move about in. Another benefit to this property is that its isolated yet in close proximity to everything. Its location on a bend keeps it quiet from any neighbors. The golf carts are well maintained and do not "I think I can" chug along like some. We had a flat. It was fixed within a couple hours. The owner is quick to respond to requests. I highly recommend this property.

Great week on Fripp

We love Fripp Island and have returned for several years, staying at different houses each time. So far, this house is our favorite. It easily accommodated our 9-person extended family with a layout convenient for our two families and one grandparent. It was easy for all of us to gather in the family/dining/kitchen area, but it was equally easy to find a spot to yourself. The kids really enjoyed the bunk room and the open space it offered to 4 kids staying in one room. The TV on the porch was used often and was a favorite of the kids and adults alike. The variety of books available to read and the movies to watch was great. Everyone really enjoyed the outside shower, it was private and proved to be the perfect way for the kids to shower before coming into the house. The fact that each bedroom had a bathroom associated with it was fantastic and the half bath on the main floor was very convenient. The kitchen provided adequate space for a week's worth of food and the refrigerator and pantry were large enough to hold everything we needed. There were plenty of dishes, utensils and cookware in a kitchen that comfortably fit 2-3 people at a time. There were a few knives available for chopping, but larger jobs, such as cutting a watermelon or a large loaf of bread proved a little challenging (only a minor inconvenience). We really loved the decorations and the warm colors of the walls, especially the small touches like the shiplap walls. Our only suggestion would be a fresh coat of interior paint at the beginning of the season as most of the walls had scuff marks or hand prints on them, but that would not affect our desire to stay at this house in the future. The only real hiccup we experienced was related to the golf carts that come with the house (a feature we really appreciated!). The golf carts available for use with the house are not the same ones pictured on the website and both had worn tires on them. One afternoon, we experienced flat tires on both golf carts, serendipitously within 15 minutes of each other, but Michele and Scott were able to arrange for both tires to be replaced the next morning. This kept us from enjoying our one of our nightly golf cart rides around the island, but we took the opportunity to play some games at the large dining room table and everyone had fun anyway. Overall, the house is wonderful, well appointed and all of us were comfortable. Thank you, Michele and Scott!

This is a wonderful house with everything we needed for a perfect family retreat. Michele was great to work with and even worked with us for extended days. Perfect House!

This house was perfect for our families! We had three couples and four children 1-15! The house was very clean and super convenient to the marina store, marina pool, and a popular beach access. We will absolutely be back, and hope to rent this awesome house again! Michele is extremely attentive, easy to work with, and very accommodating. Anything that came up she was on it immediately. Perfect house in a perfect location

We had a great time at Fripp! The house was great and would recommend to other friends. The house had plenty of room for all of our family. The house was very clean and had a lot of amenities that we didn't have to pack such as towels. Great Family Vacation Home!

We really enjoyed our family vacation at this property. The home was perfect for our large family with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. Also loved the many areas where we could spread out. The screened porch with TV was a huge hit with the kids and the beautiful porch off the master bedroom was the perfect quiet spot for morning coffee. The large dining table provided a nice gathering space for family meals and games. The kitchen was well-equipped and the furnishings were very comfortable. We loved having two golf carts for quick rides to the beach, pools and golf courses. The home is conveniently located near many amenities and is a short golf cart ride or walk to the beautiful beach. Michele was very helpful and responsive. We look forward to renting this home again!

This is such a well equipped property. Room for everyone. Each bedroom has an in-suite bathroom. The golf carts are a great way to get around the island. Our kids spent most of their time in the screening in porch when they were at the house, it was the go to spot. Perfect for relaxing and listening to a summer storm. We loved the property and the island. Michele was helpful with anything we needed. Planning to return soon!

Great Fripp house for Families.

This is a great house for families with all the essentials included for the perfect Fripp island stay. Our group included 4 adults and six young children. The two golf carts were essential for getting the kids to the beach and pools. The screened in porch with the tv gave the kids somewhere to hang out while meals were prepared. We also loved the location, close to the Marina, for getting ice and other simple groceries. The owners are very accommodating , accessible and quick to respond. We really enjoyed the house and would definitely stay there again.
