Stay for the game
Couldn’t have gone more smoothly. $20 Uber to the football field and Pike’s Place. Too bad my Eagles lost but oh well. Grace and Kevin were very responsive and easy to work with. I would happily book there again.

Older home
Our stay overall wasn't bad. The home is older and so we had some sinus troubles while there. The beds are also small and not the most comfortable but it gave us a place to sleep while going to a Seahawks game and that's what we needed.

Quirky & cute place to stay that suited our needs
We enjoyed staying at Grace and Kevin’s home. It really felt like a home, not like a usual place to rent. It was quirky and cute and suited our needs, as we were on a training course all days. The bed we slept in wasn’t super comfortable, but we made do. Plenty of mugs to choose from, which was fun! The location was perfect for us and the first evening we enjoyed sitting on the garage roof watching the view to the city. Communication between Grace and Kevin was great. Many thanks for opening your home for us.

Would book again
Grace's house was very comfortable, clean, and well equipped. She was very communicative and helpful. It was easy to get downtown and to Capitol Hill where we were working with lots of good food and easy groceries nearby. I would stay there again for sure.

Why they chose this property

For eco-conscious travelers interested in reducing their carbon footprint, this home will make your trip more sustainable. Much of the 1905 home has been preserved in its original condition, with antique fir flooring, lath-and-plaster walls and arched doorways. But technological improvements make the home more sustainable, including double-paned windows, a 4.5kW solar array and electric vehicle charging. We aim to reduce waste as much as possible and comply with city laws requiring recycling and composting. And we encourage water and energy conservation to protect our environment. We also avoid using toxic chemicals and synthetic scents that can irritate sensitive guests. Gardens surrounding the house are all organic.

What makes this property unique

Location.
Sustainability.
Old-world charm.
