About this property
Peaceful Retreat w/ Loft in Nantahala National Forest. ⛷ 🛶
Our Sapphire Valley home is the perfect place to gear-up for adventure or stay in and relax. Located more than 3,100 feet in elevation, this getaway is in the middle of all the beauty the Blue Ridge Mountains and Nantahala National Forest have to offer!
Upon entering the home, you are greeted by vaulted ceilings and an open living room featuring comfortable furniture and a wood burning fireplace. The main level includes a fully equipped kitchen, recently updated bathroom, stackable washer/dryer, and a master bedroom with access to a private outdoor deck. Head upstairs to the loft and you will find two twin beds, a single foldout futon chair, and an additional bathroom. Spend time on the deck or hangout in our hammock.
Staying with us comes with the option to purchase Sapphire Valley Resort amenities. These amenities are not at the home. They are in a separate, but very close drive-able location. You may join for $2/day (must have a 3 day minimum). Your amenity card will allow access to a private lake, canoe/paddle board rentals, two outdoor swimming pools, an indoor heated pool, two hot tubs, wet sauna, exercise room, arcade, ping pong, outdoor miniature golf, horseshoes, basketball courts, tennis courts, pickle ball courts, playground, track, and picnic tables.
Other area activities to enjoy are golf, skiing in season, zip lining, hiking, exploring waterfalls and mountain vistas, shopping, restaurants and more. Just a quick trip to Cashiers, Brevard, or Highlands, and an hour and a half from Asheville.

About the host
Hosted by Shane and Amy Sullivan

Hi, we're the Sullivans. It’s nice to meet you!
Why they chose this property
Early in our marriage, when we lived off plain pasta and scrambled eggs, we met a family who frequently shared their Rocky Mountain cabin with us. As a young couple who often paid for gas in spare change, we loved escaping to the mountains, and we dreamed of one day owning a mountain getaway of our own to share. Fast forward twenty-two years, and you find yourself looking at (or possibly standing in!) the very place we’ve always wanted.
