Peaceful Mountain at Sapphire Valley

Peaceful Mountain at Sapphire offers over 1,875 sq ft, is a beautifully appointed three-bedroom, two bath home! Our large wooded deck is great for entertaining with gas grill and ample outdoor furniture. Open home floor plan has a large living area featuring a spectacular stone wood burning fireplace. The great room connects to a large gourmet kitchen with granite counter-tops, complete with stainless steel appliances. This comes with all of the amenities of Sapphire Valley Resort.

Sleeps six comfortably; includes a queen bed (master suite), 2 twin beds (middle bedroom), and a queen bed (front bedroom). Pillow-top beds and luxury linens combine for a restful night’s sleep! There is a TV in the living room with satellite, including a DVD player.

For the more adventurous, there is a basketball goal at the side of the driveway and hiking trails begin as soon as you walk out the front door. If your style is more towards leisure, you will enjoy relaxing on the back deck or in the hot tub at Sapphire Valley Resort. All Sapphire amenities are available which include golf, tennis, canoeing, fine dining, health club, indoor and outdoor pools, Jacuzzi, sauna, tanning beds, massage therapy, planned day-trips, scenic tours, boating, fishing, hiking, concerts, snow skiing, snow-boarding and Frozen Falls Tube Park (seasonal)!

Our guests have access to the entire home including all of the living areas, three bedrooms, two baths, a large back deck, a side deck, as well as the front and back yard. The entire property is located on approximately 1 1/2 acres.

We had a wonderful stay here! The home was very clean, cozy and had everything we needed. We found the beds to be comfortable and the kitchen well stocked for basic cooking needs. Loved that the laundry room was spacious with room for shoes and bulky ski gear. The location is very peaceful and only a 10 minute drive to the Sapphire Valley resort area for skiing, snow tubing and amenities. We loved the indoor pool and arcade. The hosts were excellent! Very kind and responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed our winter stay here!

We have stayed here three years in a row, each time it’s been amazing. It fits 6 very comfortably. It’s in a perfect location. The kids love being able to go to the amenity center (pool, mini golf, arcade, ping pong, playground, basketball court). Great little getaway!!

This was our first time in Sapphire. We were in town for a wedding in Cashiers and had a great weekend! The house was perfect for us. The owners checked on us each day that we were there. It was in a quiet little area and only about 15 minutes from Cashiers.

Sapphire retreat

The home was great and very clean. We stayed for 6 days and enjoyed the cool August weather. The owners were very responsive to questions. The area is beautiful and is surrounded by trees. We forgot a few things and the owners contacted us right away to let us know. The only problem we had was the with the WiFi which was not very reliable and slow which the owners did tell us about later. Perfect for a family.

Paradise Found

From the outside, Peaceful Mountain looks like a cute little cottage but looks can be deceiving ! The minute you walk in the door you are welcomed into an immaculate and spacious home away from home. It afforded us the comfort and the privacy we were looking for all in an amazing forest and park like setting. It had a great patio and a grill to boot ! Todd and Barbie are thoughtful and cheerful caretakers who are not intrusive but always available to help out or answer questions when needed. This property is a little piece of heaven on earth.

Todd and Barbie were the perfect hosts. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay at your vacation rental. It was so spacious and had everything we needed. We did encounter a visitor. But definitely our fault for leaving the car unlocked. For those visiting - don't leave any food in your car (including unopened bags of sunflower seeds)! Yes, bears can open doors! We actually got a good laugh out of it and a great story to tell. Thanks again for making our trip memorable.

Beautiful Property

Peaceful Mountain is a beautiful home and Todd is a very responsive host. He took time to inform us of bear activity and safety rules before our arrival. We didn't see a bear on or around the property, but did see one walking on the golf course down the road in the evening. The driveway is crazy steep, which means no steps into the house! That was awesome for my soon-to-be 87 year old mom, who needs a walker and isn't very stable on her feet. Everything in the house is on 1 floor. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. The coffee maker is a drip coffee maker with its own filter. You don't need to bring filters. I've been spoiled by Keurig brewers, so re-learning how to avoid coffee grounds in my coffee was a challenge for me! Hints for the kitchen: buy a bag of ice for the freezer. There were 2 silicone ice cube makers in there. And, do not press the black button on the faucet sprayer!!! It will shut off the water, and you will be embarrassed calling Todd for help! Also, there were ants in the kitchen, so don't leave any food out. We had to throw away a bag of potato chips that was left out on the counter, and knock ants off of dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. There were ant traps out on the counters. We saw the Whitewater waterfall. It was beautiful!!! Definitely go down the stairs if you can. You get a closer, amazing view of the waterfall. We ate at The Orchard restaurant. The food was good, but the prices are ridiculous. $35 for Mushroom ravioli with a side salad, and that was one of the least expensive entrees. We were only there for a long weekend, so weren't able to use the Resort amenities. All-in-all, Peaceful Mountain is a beautiful home, Todd is an awesome host, and I do recommend this property!

Cute house close to ski at sapphire Valley

We booked last minute and are glad we did. The house was great. The location was close to tubing and we also went into cashiers. The owners were extremely helpful with checking in, our ammenity cards and tips on where to go. We enjoyed some cozy family time by the fire. Great relaxing getaway!!!

Ideally located mountain home

My wife and I were looking for a vacation rental in the cashiers are to serve as a home base for our waterfall hiking trips. This listing fit the bill perfectly. The spatious and clean home with a great kitchen ended up being even moremimoryant since the weather did not cooperate with us on Friday. The owner was very communicative and helpful.
