This is a wonderful place for a family reunion! We absolutely loved the accommodations and the location. Our hosts were very responsive. We would love to return some day!
The home is absolutely beautiful and the host is amazing. Great communication and amazing accommodations. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.
Hard to express how amazing this place is along with the owner. Amenities are the best I've ever experienced, owner was there for any questions or concerns, the house was absolutely perfect - we will be coming back.
This house is beautiful, in the most beautiful location. There is essentially a full spa available for guests to use, and we felt totally spoiled! The hosts were extremely helpful and communicative. Easy drive to ski resorts, restaurants, grocery stores, etc., and short walk to numerous well-maintained walking and hiking trails. Would love to come back!
We had a wonderful stay. Christian was welcoming, and check-in and check-out were easy. The house is well-equipped and well-maintained. The location was perfect for skiing at Alta and Snowbird, as well as activities in SLC.

Thank you so much for this great review! We really appreciate it!!!
Everything was amazing! Christian was great at communicating before and during our trip. The house is perfect for a larger group with plenty of living areas and comfort. Wonderful mountain views through large windows and from the backyard! Plenty of parking and gear space for skiers. All of that and then the Outdoor hot tub and swim spa plus the sauna, cold plunge, and steam shower. Everything was perfect. So glad we stayed here for our trip!
Communication with property owner was prompt and very good. The property was very comfortable and well outfitted for our stay. Close to skiing and SLC. Definitely would stay there again!
What a wonderful house set in a great location. Having morning coffee in front of the rock fireplace with Mountain View’s outside the wall of windows. The owners were very helpful and quick to respond. I highly recommend this beautiful and spacious lodge like house.
I am a frequent vacation renter, so I come with some knowledge when I say that this property was one of the cleanest I have ever seen. Beautiful location. Close to shopping AND the slopes. Great area to walk. Lovely view of the mountains. I had above excellent communication with the owner who was more than accommodating. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat. It is a great location for summer too, in the event that skiing is not your gig.
The property is outstanding. Terrific home for our large adult family. Easy access to airport and all of the ski resorts south of SLC. Christian was a great host with many helpful suggestions on where to eat with a large group. Would definitely stay there again.
Our 2nd time renting this house, and once again everything was great. Location is excellent for easy access to both canyon roads and resorts. We will be back in March for another week. Highly recommend this rental.
Great property, great owners. So nice and gracious and could not have been anymore accommodating. I highly recommend Christian and John, as they are TOP NOTCH in my opinion!!!!

Ben, you and your friends were amazing! We appreciated you so much with how well you kept our home! You were very clear with communicating your needs and or questions... So you made it easy for us to do our best! Thank you for staying with us! Come visit again!
We couldn't be happier with our stay here. Incredible mountain views, great location close to the canyons for ski access (and 5 minutes from the ski bus), and perfect for kids. We had 4 couples and 6 young children. The amount of toys for the kids was a nice bonus. We brought the toy box, bicycle, and rocking horse up to the great room, and the kids had a blast while we relaxed with a fire in the beautiful fireplace every evening.
Great experience overall. I gave a 4 star on the communication only because I did not hear from the host for a week right up until 2 days before the trip. A bit of a scary experience, but it was because he was out of the country. The house was excellent and beautiful and the neighborhood is wonderful. Christian communicated responsibly during the trip when I had questions and was quick to respond. Thank you so much for the great experience :)
Dec 2024: The house comfortably fit my family of 11, with spare beds not used. The upstairs queen bedroom offers bunk beds, as well. The beds and pillows more comfortable than an average hotel room. We all slept well. Every utensil needed in the kitchen is available. It’s a fully stocked kitchen. The coffee pot is a carafe and a single use coffee pod. Everything is provided…paper towels, toilet paper, Kleenex, cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, shampoo, conditioner, liquid bath soap, the works. This was my first visit to UT, and the Wasatch mtns are breathtaking. It’s in a good location for snowmobiling, snowboarding, tubing and skiing. This house met all my expectations and more! Christian, the property owner was prompt in answering all my questions and very nice. You’ll love staying here!
When you rent a property there always a question in your mind if it will live up to expectations. This property far exceeded our expectations. Tons and tons of room, well stocked with all pots, pans, dishes, and silverware. perfect kitchen for cooking meals with an adjacent dining table for 10. Lots of area for groups to break out alone. Left wing with 2 bedrooms and sitting room, 2nd floor 2 bedrooms with sitting area and basement big bedroom and family room. Location is great, 9 miles to Snowbird parking lot (suggest valet parking), and food stores nearby. Washer and dryer. I can't say enough. We are hoping to rent this unit again next year for 2 seperate weeks.

Beautiful location but challenging
the property location was beautiful but there were issues with the house. The dishwasher was a big issue as it fell out of the cabinet when open. Several times when someone opened the door the bottom rack, full of dishes slid out on the floor. When reported to the homeowner they knew the issue and said to put something under the door. Every closet in the house is locked and no dressers so you don't have anywhere to hang or hang or keep clothes. The second floor too hot to sleep (85 degrees) and the recommendation was to sleep with windows open as they knew there was an issue. There were no rails on the top bunk bed for the kids making it unsafe and impossible to have a child sleep there therefore having to share with an adult. There was no bath soap, the dishwasher was full of the owners dishes when we got there, the coffee pot was left dirty, no paper towels, one hair dryer for the entire house, several missing lights, and the TV in one of the main bedrooms didn't work. There was a heavy snow storm the night before we left that was forecast and not only weren't the walks or drive shoveled by 11:00 when we were leaving but when we got stuck in the driveway, unable to get out, we discovered there was no snow shovel in the garage. After getting no answer from the owner we had to use a dust pan from the kitchen to scoop snow to get our car out of the driveway for almost an hour. This was not the experience we expected for the money it cost. What does VRBO do in these cases??

About the host
Hosted by Christian Millward
My husband and I decided to move into our home because of our love for the outdoors. We also have a large extended family and hosting holidays is one of our favorite things. We have raised 6 children and have 1 grandchild. Family has been our most cherished! Our home has the feeling of coming home. It is full of unique items that would make a person wonder the story behind its acquisition. We love to travel, meet people and ride motorcycles!
Why they chose this property
We chose this neighborhood because in ways it reminds us of home. We are both from Idaho and love having space and a feeling of being in the country. The drive home is always breath taking with its narrow winding road, horse properties and beautiful tree scape mountain side! We have lived here for nearly 10 years and have loved every minute of it!
What makes this property unique
Our home was built from a visionary that loved cabins. This home was built to feel like you could be in the forest. It is not a modern build which is unique to this area as many of the new builds look beautiful, but they are of more modern design.
