We had a great time here! The house was equipped with everything we needed, including a pack and play, high chair and dishes for our baby. The hot tub – which has amazing views and was the cleanest we've ever seen in a rental – was perfect to come home to after long days of hiking in Yosemite.

Oakhurst - Our jump off into Yosemite NP

The house is well situated at the southern entrance (Oakhurst) to YNP. The layout of the home worked well for our family (7 people / 3 generations). We did experience a little smoky smell in the house. The wood stove may need some attention. The dryer was not very effective also.

The house was awesome! Great view from the balcony. Very clean and very spacious and well decorated inside. It was a great place to stay while we made day trips into Yosemite. I would recommend to anyone and I would definitely stay again.

On top of the world, and still close to town

Great remote spot with quick access to town

This was a great place to stay during covid! We chose this spot for a week away (to work and school). Wifi was strong for 7 people on zooms. Plenty of space inside and out. We were close to Bass Lake and to the South Gate of Yosemite. Sam was very responsive to any questions we had. Would recommend this property!

Top Notch Rental

If you look hard enough at any vacation rental, you can find something to complain about, but one would be looking very hard at Sam’s place. This place was incredible from top to bottom in all aspects and Sam was an outstanding host.
