Located just a short two-plus miles from the beach, this spacious two-story 5-bedroom, 3.5-bath vacation home in Bethany Lakes is a fantastic family getaway, just minutes from the action. Walk to the community's pool and clubhouse! All bedrooms are on the second floor. Its well-equipped kitchen features double oven, refrigerated wine cabinet and eat-in area. Extras: 2 TVs, DVD, Keurig, book & DVD library, games, gas fireplace, gas grill, wireless internet.

Things to know
The outdoor amenities are open mid-June through Labor Day; the exercise room can be enjoyed year-round
The fifth bedroom is accessible only through the fourth bedroom
Delaware regulations require all guests sign a lease agreement within 10 days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available.

Bliss in Bethany Lakes

My family was very impressed with the size, location and amenities that this beautiful home provided. The swimming pool was used by us every day. We also played tennis, took walks around the neighborhood and even went hiking at the Fresh Pond Trail which is only minutes from the house. There is a really nice grocery store across the street from the community and the beach is only a 5 minute drive away. I would definitely rent this house again.

Great for multiple families with a bunch of kids

This house had plenty of space for 3 families to come together and spread out but still have their quiet spaces when needed. The house had a pack n play, toddler bed rail and baby gate in the closet which was a nice surprise! The gas stove was nice and the multiple dining tables was plenty of room to feed everyone. And that was just the house! The community was perfect for us staying there with young kids! The pool and playground were a perfect size and never crowded. The pond was great for animal watching and fishing. We will be returning in the future!

Family Friendly

Our 10th year, but unfortunately last, summer beach week at this fine home. Wife cannot handle stair climbs to second floor any longer. Our grandkids had a blast (5, 10, 13 and 14).

Very happy with the size of the house for 3 families with kids 3 and under. Distance to the beach is not too bad. Located fairly close to everything. Couches could be updated. Vacuum in the home did not work well. Otherwise, no complaints. Great place. Will consider staying here again next year!!

Repeat visitors appreciative again

The owners have consistently gone out of their way to provide their renters with almost everything you’d find or need at home. The community pool was loved by our pre-teen grandkids. Only problem is that all bedrooms are on second floor and my wife has difficulty going up and down the 15 steps owing to heart problems. This is our 6th year for this wonderful property. We’d hug the owners if we met them.

Vacation Home

This home is perfect for our family of 10. The size is perfect. Very kid friendly. This was our second vacation at this home. There is a community pool nearby that is very convenient when you're tired of the beach. There are a few things that we were disappointed with. The cleanliness of the kitchen and the bathroooms. They definitely need more attention. Also the sofa in the family room is very worn and dirty. It was in need of repair the last time we were there. It definitely needs replaced.

The home at Bethany Lakes was absolutely gorgeous. The complex also has a pool and park which were perfect for my two babies. The home was fully stocked with all essentials and more including a beach wagon, beach toys, baby gates, baby/toddler toys and a pack and play. My only issue with the home was the cleanliness which was not the owner’s fault. The company responsible for cleaning clearly did not even vacuum. There was food on the floor, bottle caps around the home, hair in the shower, etc. I called Vacasa to inform them. They quickly sent over a cleaning crew who spent a total of 10 minutes in the home leaving the home in the same condition that it was in previously. We had to spend a few hours cleaning before we could truly enjoy the gorgeous property.

Clean & quiet location

Loved the roominess, very quiet gated community. Also loved the community pool. Would have rated it 5 stars if the house had more & larger TV's for the kids and faster internet since i had to do some work on vacation. But i did book the house for fall 2022 when my daughter gets married at the beach.

The house was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen had everything needed for preparing meals. Mattresses were comfortable for a good night sleep. Location in relation to the pool and club house was good. Short ride to boardwalk and beach.

Overall, the house was good. There were a few things that could have been better. - the house cleaners did not do a thorough job. There were crumbs throughout the house. - the twin beds were very squeaky - some of the pots and pans were worn and needed replacement - there was confusion between Wyndham and the house owner re coffee pots being provided. Improvement in their communication is needed.

Nice house with adequate space for a party of 10. House lacked outdoor seating space.

Clean large house with an open floor plan. House is located within walking distance to the community amenities. Convenience of a grocery store across the street of the community. After hours check in was confusing. The welcome letter sent via e-mail lacked important information including the gate number to enter the community, no mention of retrieving a fab after check-in hours to enjoy the community amenities. Landscaping could improve as the bushes were overgrown into the driveway, lacking in overall seating in the main living area. Wasted space included the library area and formal living area. House lacked outdoor seating area. Overall, the vacation was positive but I would not rent this house again.
