Had a wonderful time Elizabeth was a wonderful host very responsive. The sunsets every night were spectacular house sits up with an amazing view each evening. We visited in February so the Fireplaces were on a lot and work really well and create so much vibe. Main living room is a really beautiful room. Desert mountain is a rbeautiful secluded area With stunning houses which make for fun walks in the community. House is newly remodeled with new beds and mattresses. A few places like the kitchen, closets, and hot tub are original to the 90s when it was built so the feel of the house isn’t quite like a brand new place, but has been tastefully updated. Furniture is very nice.
Month long stay in this very spacious, well designed and well equipped Desert Mountain home. Enjoyed great nearby biking, golf, hiking, restaurants and dining. Would certainly recommend and stay here again.
We loved staying at this beautiful home in Desert Mountain. The location is close to hiking shopping and great restaurants. The home is tastefully decorated with great outdoors spaces. The sitting area on one of the two patios has once of the best views of the sunset we have ever seen. It was our favorite place to enjoy the mountain views. The hosts we very helpful with whatever we needed. Always got back to us immediately and took care of whatever we needed. We look forward to renting this beautiful home again.
We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home that has two amazing patios with incredible sunsets, mountain views and city night lights. The patio with the hot tub has a nice water element and we sat out there for morning coffee listening to the quails/doves and had our evening dinners there watching sunsets. Elizabeth, the owner was so wonderful to work with, quick to respond with any communications and very accommodating. We were very impressed the house was fully stocked with everything you need in the kitchen and throughout the house. Living and dining areas are very spacious and open as well as very nicely appointed. Bedrooms each have their own bathrooms and master bathroom is very spacious. All the beds were so comfortable with wonderful cushy pillows felt like it was a 5 star hotel. Our guest loved the casita, large bedroom/living area, small kitchenette and nice privacy. The house is in a perfect location in Desert Mountain, quite neighborhood, easy access getting in/out entrance, great walking, biking and hiking in Desert Mountain. We will definitely stay in this beautiful home again and highly recommend this property! Thank you Elizabeth for such a wonderful stay!
We had an amazing stay in Desert Mountain. We have stayed on other places as my in laws live in Desert Mountain but this was one of the best overall experiences. The house had everything it stated, the location was perfect and communication with the owner when we had questions was immediate.. it was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend this property.
The property was great and the owner was incredible to work with The response s were immediate and helpful. The place could use a landscaper and an address plaque at the road.

House Was Not Ready To Be Rented
Great house, great neighborhood, and great nearby hiking (check out AllTrails!). Super high quality TVs and beds. Master bedroom and casita are equally nice in case two couples are splitting the cost evenly. Owners were very accessible via text during the stay. The reason for the 2 star review is this was a first-time VRBO rental and the house was simply not ready to be rented yet. There were major electrical problems that were ongoing for the entire stay (breakers constantly tripping for the kitchen outlets and living room TV area where the main internet connection is), and the master bathroom was not usable (it was being remodeled and workers were present) for over a week of our 30 day stay. Knowing the house wasn’t ready, the owners gave us the option to cancel a few days before our visit. But they also offered the option for a full refund for any days workers were present, so we accepted that offer since we already had Christmas plans in the area. The problem happened when we checked out and they refused to provide any refund whatsoever of the 7 days the workers were in the house. They came up with a laundry list of reasons of things we did to offset 100% of the amount of the refund, but frankly we felt it was all 100% fabricated to avoid refunding us. I’m sure you’ll get that laundry list in the response with a nice spin, but just know that we had the debate with the owners and we feel very strongly it was 100% fabricated. I would just say if these owners can win over future renters and start getting 4 or 5 star ratings then maybe they took some learnings from our very contentious interactions after our stay. It’s a great property. But if there are more low star ratings on this property, I would recommend that any VRBO renter be very careful about getting into any business relationship with these owners and assume any cash security deposit to be extremely risky.
