Purchased in the 1970s by local Wacoan Jesse Contreras, owner of Jesse's Tortilla Shop since 1958, where you will find the best chips & salsa in town. Recently purchased by Jesse's grandson & transformed into its current state, Jesse's Place welcomes all guests to experience the old style pier & beam home with updated amenities & comfort. Waco Memorial Weekend

This beautiful home housed two families with small children and this place truly was our home away from home. They had everything we could potentially need for cooking meals. The house was clean and kid friendly. Location was perfect and safe. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Beautiful home

We stayed here for orientation weekend for our soon to be freshman at Baylor. It was the perfect place for two families with great access to the university and the rest of Waco. The home is beautifully decorated and the hosts were incredibly accommodating. Hope to be back for football game weekends!

Great stay at Jesse’s Place

Wonderful house. The house was very clean and management went above and beyond to communicate and make sure everything was good. Includes lots of extras like snacks and coffee. Kitchen had everything we needed. Location is very close to all the Waco attractions and good restaurants. Highly recommend!

Perfect!

We loved everything about this house. The location was great- walking distance to Magnolia and 3 minute drive to Baylor. The house was clean, spacious and full of charm. The owners left some chips and salsa for us to enjoy and it was my favorite snack each day. We will definitely look to stay here again when we return to Waco.

Perfect In Every Way

Secure gated parking behind home. Excellent appliances: good A/C, large refrigerator, and new washer/dryer for mid-stay towel wash. Generous common sitting space outside and inside. New and excellently furnished. Excellent home. Easy to communicate requests with quick responses from management.

This place is ADORABLE! They had chips and salsa waiting for us when we arrived. I took my daughter and her friends for a birthday weekend trip and it fit us comfortably. The neighborhood was a little questionable but otherwise I would highly recommend this place. They have it done so cute on the inside and it was nice and cool!

Girlfriends on the Loose!

This property was so cute and cozy! Accommodations were represented accurately. We had an issue with the ice maker but the property manager had a bag of ice to us in about 30 minutes! Cleaning company needs to check the shower dispenser more often but we had our own shampoo and soap so we were fine. We were in a good location and close to the attractions we wanted to see. We would definitely stay here again!!!

Close to Silos!

We spent 3 nights at Jesse’s Place and it was great for our family. The kids loved the bunk room with the arcade game. The outdoor basketball hoop and corn hole boards made for fun evenings. Location is about a 6 minute walk to the silos. Neighborhood is going through revitalization but the property was safe and the area was quiet. Property looks just like the pictures and full of all you need for a longer stay recommend for anyone visiting Waco!

What a wonderful time we had with our family and friends! Everything was super clean and comfy, and the property manager was super responsive with any issues that we had! It was very close to Baylor‘s campus and lots of things we could walk to. Including the Silos!!

GREAT Location & Amenities

We loved our stay at Jesse’s place during Baylor’s Homecoming! It was very spacious for our small party of 3, but the backyard was a big bonus - with the basketball hoop and seating we were outside every night, and the quaint front porch was perfect for a morning cup of coffee. The neighborhood is very quiet to, even being close to the freeway. I liked that part because we could access Baylor and downtown very quickly. We will definitely stay again!
